Where every dog feels at home.

Hi! I'm Kristin, and if your dog could choose their own vacation, I hope it would be with me! Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've owned and cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities—from energetic puppies to sweet senior dogs. In addition to being a lifelong dog owner, I volunteer at my local animal shelter, where I've gained experience working with shy, nervous, high-energy, and special-needs dogs. Every dog is different, and I enjoy taking the time to earn their trust and make them feel safe and loved. Whether your pup loves hiking, long walks, playing fetch, exploring new trails, or simply curling up on the couch for belly rubs, I'll make sure they have a fun, comfortable, and enriching stay. I treat every dog as if they were my own, with lots of attention, patience, affection, and care. I know how important it is to leave your furry family member with someone you trust. That's why I'll keep you updated with plenty of photos, videos, and messages, so you can relax knowing your best friend is happy, safe, and having a great time. For the health and safety of all pets in my care, I require that all dogs be current on their vaccinations. Please provide proof of up-to-date vaccination records before your dog's stay. Also, dog will be in create at night or if I have to be gone for a hour or 2. No vicious dogs. This helps ensure a safe, healthy environment for every pup. I'd love the opportunity to meet you and your pup and become their home away from home!

As a family member, I've had the chance to see firsthand just how much Kristin loves animals. Her dogs have always been part of our family. They go on vacations, hikes, and adventures with us, they're in our family photos, and they're loved just like any other family member. Kristin has a natural ability to understand dogs and pays close attention to their body language and behavior. She can recognize when a dog is feeling anxious, stressed, or uncomfortable and knows how to help them feel safe again. Whether it's through exercise, enrichment toys, playtime, or simply giving them extra attention and affection, she does everything she can to make dogs feel comfortable while their owners are away. She takes excellent care of every dog she meets and makes sure they're happy, healthy, and loved. I would trust her with any pet, knowing they would be treated with the same care and compassion she gives her own dogs every single day.

I highly recommend Kristin as a pet sitter. Over the past three years I have seen firsthand the dedication that she and her husband show by consistently volunteering many hours each week at our local animal shelter, providing enrichment, love, and attention to the dogs. She is patient, trustworthy, kind, dependable, and genuinely cares about the well-being of every dog she meets. Without hesitation, I would trust her completely with my own dogs and know they would be cared for as if they were her own.

I've known Kristin my whole life, and she's always had a special place in her heart for animals. Over the years she's cared for all kinds of dogs, including rescue dogs, retired sled dogs, Labs, a Saluki, and even adopted a shelter dog to give her a second chance. She spends countless hours volunteering at the local shelter, especially with dogs that need a little extra patience and love. She'll take them on hikes and walks, give them baths, stop for pup cups, and even let some spend the night at her house to give them a break from the stress and anxiety of the shelter. She truly goes above and beyond for dogs that others might overlook. Her own dogs are part of the family and are loved, spoiled, and incredibly well cared for. She was even nominated by someone in the community for her dedication to helping shelter dogs. If you're looking for someone who will genuinely love and care for your dog while you're away, Kristin is someone you can trust.

Your pet will have the most loving, caring, Unforgettable experience, in kristin's care. She dedicates at least two days a week at the dog shelter in Nephi, Utah, and alternates different dogs to take them on walks, so they are getting the outside exercise, attention, and love that they need. She even adopted one of the dogs that had been left unattended, down at the rodeo grounds for several weeks. You will find an assured trust in kristin in the care love and dedication that she will give to your sweet pooch. Tricia Rivers

Schedule

I work part-time a few days each week, which gives me plenty of time to provide attentive care for your dog. Every morning starts with exercise, whether that's a neighborhood walk, a hike, or about a 3-mile adventure—always tailored to your dog's age, energy level, and comfort on a leash. I'm home and available throughout most of the day. On the few days I work, I'm only away for a few hours in the afternoon before returning home. My goal is to make sure every dog gets plenty of exercise, attention, love, and companionship while you're away, so they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I prefer dogs to be picked up or dropped off around 10 a.m.

Safety, trust & environment

Safety, Trust & Environment Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. Through volunteering at an animal shelter, I've gained hands-on experience working with dogs of all ages, sizes, personalities, and behavioral needs. I've learned how to recognize signs of stress, fear, and anxiety early, and I use calm, positive techniques to help dogs feel safe and relaxed. If your dog prefers not to interact with other dogs, that's absolutely okay. I can easily keep my dogs separated and provide your pet with their own safe, comfortable space. Every dog is cared for according to their individual needs and personality. I live on a half-acre property with a large, 3/4  fenced yard. The remaining area is safely used on a long leash, giving dogs plenty of room to explore while staying secure. Whether your dog enjoys playing in the yard, going on walks, or relaxing indoors, I'll make sure they get the exercise and attention that's right for them. I especially love taking dogs on walks and hikes because physical and mental stimulation can help reduce anxiety and build confidence in new environments. Since I don't have young children at home, your dog won't have to worry about being overwhelmed by kids who may not understand a dog's boundaries. My home is calm, clean, and designed with your pet's safety in mind. I treat every dog as if they were my own, and I will never put your pet in a situation that makes them feel unsafe or uncomfortable. My goal is to give you peace of mind while providing your dog with a fun, loving, and safe home away from home.

A typical day

A Fun Day in My Care Every dog deserves a day filled with adventure, enrichment, and plenty of love! Depending on your dog's age, energy level, and personality, our day may include a scenic walk or hike, games of fetch in the yard, interactive puzzle and enrichment toys, and safe chew toys (with your approval). Dogs also have plenty of opportunities to sniff, explore, play, and enjoy the outdoors in my spacious yard. For social dogs, supervised playtime with my friendly dogs is available, while dogs who prefer their own space will receive one-on-one attention and activities tailored just for them. I believe both physical exercise and mental stimulation are important for a happy, balanced dog. My goal is for every pup to head home feeling exercised, relaxed, confident, and excited to come back for their next visit!

To provide the best possible care, I'd love to learn as much as I can about your dog before their stay. Please let me know about their personality, daily routine, energy level, and any special needs. It's especially helpful to know: - Whether they get along with other dogs, people, and children. - Any medications, allergies, or medical conditions. - Any fears, anxieties, or behaviors I should be aware of. - Whether they're comfortable on walks around other dogs, children, bicycles, or other distractions. - Any training cues, favorite toys, or habits that help them feel comfortable. The more I know about your pup, the better I can create a safe, fun, and stress-free experience that's tailored just for them!
