With a degree in Animal Science focused on veterinary medicine, plus hands-on experience with dogs, cats, and farm animals, I bring both passion and knowledge to every pet I care for. Whether you need drop-in visits, in-home care, or a safe space for your pet to stay, I’ve got you covered. I currently share my home with two cats and one dog and I have a setup that allows for separate or shared spaces, depending on your pet’s needs. This was our second time leaving August, our pet baby in Kristy's care. This time, he stayed with her for 12 days. We were never worried about his wellbeing. Kristy sent us pictures with sweet captions at regular intervals on a daily basis. We found August to be very happy and healthy when we went to pick him up. Kristy's pet, Marlin was great company to August. We were very happy with our experience and looking forward to many more stays of August with her. I provide attentive, individualized care based on each pet’s routine, temperament, and needs, whether they are staying in my home or I am caring for them in theirs. In my home: Pets are welcomed into a safe, calm, pet-friendly environment where their comfort and routine are a priority. I offer structured feeding times, supervised outdoor play, enrichment, and plenty of individual attention. My home allows for separate or shared spaces, which is especially helpful for pets who need quiet time, slower introductions, or reduced stress. I closely monitor behavior, appetite, and overall well-being and can administer medications as needed. In client’s home: I focus on maintaining the pet’s normal routine to minimize stress. Care includes feeding, fresh water, litter or waste cleanup, walks or outdoor time, play and enrichment, companionship, and medication administration if required. I also monitor health and behavior, provide updates, and ensure the home is left tidy and secure after each visit. In both settings, my goal is to provide reliable, compassionate care that helps pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away.

A typical day
I tailor activities to each pet’s age, energy level, and personality so they stay happy, engaged, and safe. For active pets, this may include supervised outdoor play, walks, interactive games like fetch or chase, and basic training reinforcement. For pets who enjoy mental stimulation, I incorporate enrichment activities such as puzzle toys, scent games, and gentle training exercises. For cats, fun often looks a little different—interactive play with wand toys or lasers, window watching, enrichment games, brushing, and quiet companionship for those who prefer a calmer approach. For senior pets or those who need a slower pace, activities focus on gentle movement, comfort, and one-on-one attention. I also make time for cuddles, affection, and calm bonding moments, because emotional well-being is just as important as physical activity. Every activity is designed to be safe, supervised, and enjoyable—my goal is to make each pet feel relaxed, enriched, and loved while you’re away. 🐾
