I've lived with dogs since I was 8 years old and have been caring for my own dog for almost 11 years. I frequently take care of friends dogs when they are busy or out of town, often for extended periods of time. Most of the dogs I have lived with or have taken care of came from shelters and/or were adopted at an older age, so I am experienced with with a variety of mental, social, and behavioral issues. I'm and comfortable with caring for dogs of all ages, and can administer medications if needed, including subcutaneous injections. I've also worked with ESA and service dogs, and recently trained my own dog to be a certified service animal.
