Hi, I'm Kristin! I've pet-sat for years before getting into the zookeeping field. My experience pet-sitting includes dogs, cats, and chickens. As a keeper, I've been lucky to work in aquaria, herps (reptiles and amphibians), carnivores, primates, invertebrates, hoofstock, and birds. I am able to pet-sit pets aside from dogs and cats too! I currently have a tarantula, a rabbit, a goldfish, two uromastyx, two snakes and a leopard gecko. I am unable to do horse care, I am deathly allergic.

I am able to drop-in for walks, feeding, letting pets out, and check-ins. If you are traveling, I am able to stop by during the days you are away and/or overnight stays if needed.

Kristin has been great with my rambunctious puppy. She always provides updates and I look forward to getting photos from the check-ins. Going back to work has been much easier knowing that my puppy is in good hands!

It is always tough to be away from our dog and cat when they can't come on trips with us, but having someone like Kristin watching them always helps. We really appreciated all of the pictures of our two girls, which put us at ease that they were safe and happy. I know they must have enjoyed spending time with Kristin because they hardly seemed have missed us when we returned! We will definitely ask Kristin to sit for us again!
Kristin did amazing with my dog, Duke. It was his first time with a sitter he didn’t previously know and he can be very anxious around new people. She was very patient with him and we had a great experience!
Kristin did a spectacular job! She took care of my pets as if they were her own! She followed my care instructions and kept my house in order. My pets were stress free. She sent wonderful videos of them receiving love and attention! I couldn’t have asked for anything better ❤️
Kristin is awesome 🤩 our pets and home were both well cared for while we were away. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I currently on a break from zookeeping and working at Troegs Independent Brewing. I am happy to work clients into my schedule. If I am unavailable, I am willing to help find someone who is!

- I always like to know what needs your pet may have or any behaviors to look out for/monitor (i.e. trying to eat things they are not supposed to). General temperament/personality is also great to know because it helps your pet and I get to know each other better (fearful - do not approach until they warm up, super friendly, etc.) If doing drop-ins or a sit, I like to know a backup contact and who your vet is.
