I can provide care by providing activities of physical and mental exercises inside and outside the home to basic care of feeding and letting out to go to the bathroom. I am experienced with walking and training dogs, and I also love to just hang out with an animal for their entertainment (if you find yourself talking to your pet like a human then I’m the perfect person for you - I’m pretty sure my pups can understand everything I say to them & they talk back in their own way). I have dealt with animals who eat anything that’s up for grabs to a very specific diet. I understand the importance of routine for our animals and will respect what you need for your pet. For special care - If you need to make a very detailed list I would love for you to share with me and know it will be followed. I am comfortable and familiar with oral medications from puppies/dogs at the rescue I worked at and dogs of my own. My pugs are higher maintenance so I am familiar with medications administered by mouth, ears, and eyes. I also love to brush and maintain animals fur/coats, it is really a good way to bond if your animal is comfortable with it. I am currently going through a grooming course, and I have experience of my own from my personal dogs and working with puppies/dogs at the rescue. This includes working with animals that do not like or are new to grooming. I am mainly experienced with simple brushing and bathing, so I will stick to that level for now and I hope to be a groomer in the future once I’ve gone through my course and gained experience. You don’t have to worry about coming home to a fresh bob cut on your pet, luckily I have dogs of my own to practice on for now! If you would like me to brush out your dog and bathe them then let me know!
Information Kristin E. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your pet has any special accommodations and behaviors to be aware of. I will respect whatever you wish and understand the importance of keeping a routine for our pets. If you have a specific way of training and cues of your own please share so I can provide the proper communication to your pet. I love to learn different techniques and would love to share my knowledge if wanted. Please share about your pet’s temperament and what your daily schedule looks like. Lastly, if there is any behavior you’ve been working on them with and if you can think of any strengths and weaknesses of your furry loved one that would be appreciated so we’re both set up for success.
A typical day
I am all for cuddling up on the couch with you furry loved ones and just providing companionship that all our pets need. I can do mental and physical activities with your dog inside the house or outside. I know of activities with treats, toys, or their daily kibble food (especially if they are on special diets or have sensitive stomachs), whatever your preference is! One example of an indoor activity that I like to do is scatter feed or a sniff mat, it is something that is fun for the dog and can give them a daily exercise without going outside. I also love to go on walks with dogs, and have experience walking all kinds of dogs. I have a park near my home that is great for walks that I often take my personal dogs to so we know of all the good smells and paths. I don’t mind walking around your neighborhood or if you have a place you like to walk your dog, please share! If needed, I can make it more challenging and do games of recall (safely and controlled of course) and walks with treats to test and practice everyday cues that my dog knows. Let me know what you would like for your pet and if there’s something you think they would enjoy.

Care that our beloved pets deserve
Pet care experience
My friends and family have come to me over the years to assist with problem behaviors and care for their pets. I have 3 dogs of my own that are apart of my family, they are 2 pugs and a Newfoundland so I have years of personal experience working with small and large dogs. I hope you choose me to assist with the care of your furry loved one, and become someone you can trust to enhance your animals life and give the care that our animals deserve.
Reviews

We went on a family trip over Thanksgiving for 4 nights/5days, a longer getaway from our very loved family dog. Kristin was amazing at checking in, sending pics to ease my nerves of Coco’s well being. Kristin made sure Coco was well cared for and even went out of her way to make sure of Coco’s comfortably. Kristin is very knowledgeable and has a love for animals so I definitely would recommend her.

Great with the pups! Goes above and beyond!

Kristin is always amazing with Kaylee! She makes sure she stays safe and happy and Kaylee always is tuckered out and happy!

Kristin was amazing! She took such great care of my new puppy! She checked in with photos throughout the evening, and made sure I was kept up to date the whole night!
