I'm a kindergarten teacher and a mom of two teens. We have a golden retriever and a lot of land! Dogs that visit us can run their hearts out. I can help people and families care for their dogs while they're on a vacation or away at work. Your dog will never want to leave our farm!

Kristin is an amazing soul who treats her dog and other animals she watches and cares for like her own! She will play, love, snuggle, feed, and walk your animal just like you would do and were there. Kristin always takes amazing care of my dog, Kobe! Over the past few years she’s taken care of him if I’m out of town. She makes sure he gets lots of exercise and playtime, and always updates me on how he’s doing. I’m never worried knowing that Kristin is taking awesome care of him!

Schedule
I'm available most of the time! Summer months, holidays, and weekends are a popular time to board with us. During the school year, we're often busy with our own events or the kids' hockey and baseball games, but we try to be available as often as we can. Check your upcoming away plans and book me! I do my best to keep my Rover calendar updated. If you're not sure if we're available, don't hesitate to ask!

Safety, trust & environment
Our home is on forty-three acres! We have no fenced yard, but we're very far from the road. Depending on your dogs' needs, I can walk on a leash and/or use our outdoor long cable. So far, all the dogs I've cared for have remained unleashed and always stay by me and close to the home. In addition, I'll take dozens of pictures of your pup because I just can't help myself. A dog sitter and a photographer? What's better than that!?

A typical day
We live on an old farm with tons of open space, wooded trails, and a beautiful pond. We just love exploring our farm! Honestly, this dog sitting job is a lot harder than I expected. Dogs are totally exhausting, but it's so important to me that they get the mental stimulation and physical exercise they need, with juuuust enough naps in between!
