Big Heart For All Sized Animals
Hi, I'm Kristin! I started doing Rover in 2019 part time when I was in college and ever since I've found an even larger love for animals. After leaving college I had a year and a half gap with Rover and I worked at a doggy daycare, gaining a lot of experience that I'm able to bring to my Rover sittings; giving medications, handling senior dogs and cats, handling anxious pets, CPR training, being able to remember over 100 dogs triggers/quirks, and just the bonds I was able to make with all of them. 💛 Now, since August 2021, I am lucky to have Rover as my full time job; offering boarding in your home with a commute as far as 25 miles, and up to 6 dog walks and drop in's a day for any and all animals you may have.

Kristin is the best! She is so great with our dogs, our dog Crash who is really scared of people loves her because of how great and patient she has been with him!!

Kristin was wonderful with our 4 fur babies in our home! We got regular updates and could tell from photos and messages she went above and beyond giving them lots of TLC. We’d love to have her back next time we travel!

Kristin was amazing! So communicative and kind. Both of our dogs loved her and we loved seeing the pictures she sent!

Kristen is just awesome! Last month somehow messed up scheduling a date Kristen and I had discussed for her too care for my three mini dachshunds on the day when I would be gone from home from 3 AM until 830 or 9 PM. I discovered that I had never scheduled it the night before we were to leave. I reached out to her via the River site. She advised that she already had a really busy day scheduled, and yet, still found time to schedule to drop in visits to check on my kids, feed them, and give them potty breaks. I let her know that I understood her being busy and that I could make other arrangements because I did not want to overburden her day when she was already so busy. She insisted that she was able to do the two drop in visits. My baby love her to death. She is such an awesome, caring, kind person. She goes above and beyond. She is a sitter, pet caregiver extraordinaire!!!

Kristen always goes above and beyond. I am always at peace when I leave my three Dachshunds in her care.

Kristin watched our 2 Senior Australian Cattle Dogs for 1-week while we went out of the country for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We have never left them alone this long before, so it was a huge thing for them and us to entrust their care to someone else. Kristin stayed at our home and took very good care of them, provided daily updates and pictures. They have a unique feeding system which didn't seem to be a problem and she also kept them very entertained, as they are still somewhat high energy dogs. They looked so happy in all of their photos, which was a huge comfort. Kristin also cleaned the backyard, which we are very thankful for. We highly recommend her and will also definitely be booking her again in the future. Thank you, Kristin, for taking such good care of Cyrus and Willow.

Calendar and availability
Schedule
Your pets are my number one priority during my time with them and since I do Rover full time I try to revolve my schedule around your pets so their routines don't have to change. I will occasionally have dog walks or drop ins to go to but if your pets have scheduled feeding times, walk times, or medication times I will make sure to be exact with those.
Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
I know that trust is a big thing and want to make sure you, the owners, feel at ease and relaxed while you are away. I send two/three updates with pictures (sometimes videos) a day to let you know what/how your pets have been doing; if they are eating normally and using the bathroom regularly, their behavior, energy levels, etc. I'm also happy to help with any small tasks around the house that your pets can't do while you're away 😆: bringing in your mail/packages, watering your plants, taking down your trash cans, etc.
Pets
A typical day
A day all depends on your type of dog! If your dog enjoys play time I can take them to a dog park near by, if allowed, or go on a long walk or hike. If your dog isn't very active that okay too, I would enjoy being able to just snuggle with your pup
