Very experienced in dog care
I have owned, trained and cared for dogs, cats and horses over the last 17 years. I also work with a dog rescue organization in the area and have fostered over 40 dogs in the last 3 years. As an avid animal lover I understand the significant impact that owning animals has on our ability to travel and relax when away. I want to provide people the opportunity to travel care-free while their dogs enjoy the best care being boarded in my home. I have a very dog-friendly house with a fully secure fenced in yard. I work from home so dogs receive attention all day and night and get lots of playtime. Dogs boarded here will get free roam of the house but can also have and use a crate at the owner’s request. I am able to feed special diets and give medication as needed. If your dog stays here they will be welcomed into my house as if they were one of my own. Dogs that come here should be friendly with both male and female dogs. There are no cats in the home. I am also available for lunch time, evening and weekend dog walking.

Kristin was super helpful taking Stanley for 2 nights in short notice. We were able to work out all details about his care in advance so everything was set to go when we arrived. She provided multiple pictures and videos while we were away and he came home tired and happy! Thank you again!
This was our second time using Kristin for our young lab. It was the first time we left him overnights for a 5 day vacation, and Kristin relieved all anxiety we had about leaving him for the first time. She sent us tons of pictures, videos and updates throughout our time away and our dog looked like he was having the time of his life the whole time. I 100% recommend using Kristin for your pet care needs, it is very obvious that she is a passionate animal lover and takes great care of her own animals and guests. Kristin will absolutely be our go-to for our pet care needs!

Kristin watched our 6 month old lab puppy for us while we attended a friends wedding. It was our first time using rover, and were lucky to find someone that was just minutes away! Kristin’s communication was great, she answered all of my questions as a first time rover user and sent us great videos and pictures of our pup running and playing with her dogs. He sure seemed to miss his playmates when we brought him home. We will absolutely recommend/book with Kristin in the future.
Kristin did a fabulous job caring for my german shepherd mix! She is a great animal person and has experience with dogs, cats and horses! I love that she kept me updated throughout my absence and let me know how my dog was doing.

Schedule
I work from home and am here almost all of the time for boarding in my home. I am also available to provide dog walks during the week in the evenings, sometimes over lunch and on the weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
Dogs cared for in my home will be treated as if they were my own. They are able to roam about the house and use the full fenced yard. Dogs are allowed on my bed and on the couches in the home, in addition to the many dog beds throughout. Owners can expect frequent photos and updates on their pup! Dog & Cat CPR and First Aid Certified
Pets
A typical day
I am able to walk dogs at nearby trails and parks and/or let them run free in my fully fenced yard. I have many dog toys and enrichment activities for dogs staying here.
