An adult is present in our home at all times. I work in public education, and I am home afternoons, evenings, and weekends. We have a college student in residence. My two girls are homeschooled, and are also present and thrilled to spend time with our guests.

Please let us know if your dog has any special needs. For example, is your pet used to eating, waking, or sleeping at certain hours of the day? We do not offer human food to our pets. We will happily feed your pups whatever food you provide in an area away from our other animals. Sometimes dogs are protective of their food and we want to avoid doggy drama. We have as few as four and as many as six canine residents here at any given time (including our own), especially during the summer. Please avoid booking us if your dog doesn’t like other dogs or children as we have both and everyone is excited to pet and play! Our dogs are smart, and will leave your dog alone if they are uninterested in play, but we do wish to avoid aggression.

We play in our fenced yard often, but we are just as happy snuggled up watching a movie or playing games while older dogs that need to take it easy rest nearby.

Our family loves dogs! Currently, we have a Bloodhound and two smaller beagle mixes. My children have grown up around dogs their entire lives and we all truly enjoy snuggling, loving, and exercising with our canine friends. Enjoy a worry free vacation, and give your dog a vacation too! I’m a public educator, so I’m at home afternoons and evenings, on weekends, holidays, and all summer. I have a 26 year old college student who is home when I am not. During the week, we can provide care with a combination of adults and kids coming in and out at various times of the day, and there is almost always 100% supervision available. We have a fenced yard, four energetic canine playmates, two energetic human female (11 & 14) playmates, and a whole lot of extra time and love for our potential guests! We do have crates if preferred at night, but our dogs sleep where they choose. Your dog will get plenty of exercise and plenty of snuggles. We have a large fenced in back yard. Out doggy visitors usually sleep on the carpeted floor in the room of the hooman of their choosing. We find our guests usually bond with and adopt a specific person for their stay. It is always fun finding out who it will be for each one.

Kristin was absolutely wonderful with O'Malley while we were away in Tennessee! This was the longest I had ever been away from him, and I was definitely a nervous dog mom. She kept me updated with pictures and messages throughout the weekend, which made it so much easier to enjoy our trip knowing he was in such good hands. O'Malley had a fantastic time and was clearly loved and cared for like one of her own. Kristin was kind, dependable, and communication was excellent from start to finish. Also, I packed O'Malley like he was heading off to summer camp with enough supplies for a month! complete with his own backpack full of toys, wipes, treats, grooming supplies, and labeled meals. 😂 Kristin was so prepared and attentive that she barely needed half of it! It just showed me how capable and experienced she is. I wouldn't hesitate to trust her with O'Malley again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will love and care for their pets like family. Thank you, Kristin, for taking such wonderful care of our boy! ❤️🐾
Kristin was able to pick Archie up last minute when our other sitter fell through. She was so great and would 100% recommend. She kept us updated with pics and check ins all weekend.

This was the first time using Rover. My contact with Kristen was easy and after the reading the reviews I felt she was the right choice for Diamond. Diamond came home happy and we will contact Kristen for our next sitting needs.
