New to Rover, but not to Dogs! :)
Hi there! I'm Kristin, and I've been a lifelong dog and animal lover since the day I was born (still have my Snoopy stuffed animal 36 years later)! I'm a dog mom to my own little houndie, Jellybean, for 15 years. I. Love. Dogs. I care about their physical and mental well-being and you can count on me to take care of your pups and give them a tail-wagging good time when I come by! Having a hound, I know that dogs have a nose of their own and you can 100% trust me that I will keep your dog safely right by my side when we go on walks. (Especially in this area where nature runs wild!) I'm also VERY attentive to a dog's needs so if I start to notice heavy panting, licking, or anything out of the ordinary I will make sure to notify you and do all I can to take care of them. Fresh water will be on me at all times especially as we start approaching these summer months. Basically when I take care of your dog, I'm taking care of them as if they're my own child (and your child!), making sure they get lots of exercise, sunshine, mental stimulation, love and attention! They will be spoiled with my attention, you can count on that! :). I'm also extremely experienced with senior dogs and special need dogs as well, and I fully understand the type of care, attention, and control needed when walking a more dominant dog. But no matter what dog it is, the dog is your pet, your child, your family, and you can fully trust that I will be 100% focused on them while on the job at all times.

If caring for a pet in your own home, I'd want to make sure I understand what's normal for them, i.e. what can be laying out in the house versus not (attention counter surfers!), what their routines are, etc. I'd want to keep their life as consistent, comfortable, and stress-free as possible, and I know many dogs thrive off of routine!

Takes such good care of my Molly girl! Not having to worry about her being home while I’m at work is such a relief. Kristin does a fantastic job. Truly loves animals and loves what she does. Goes the extra mile to make sure your pup gets exactly what they need. She’s always flexible when need be and I always know Molly is in good hands. Highly recommend!!
I am so thankful that my Carlie gets to enjoy the company and love from Kristin! She is genuine and a true animal lover. My mind is always at ease when I know she is coming! I also know my pupper looks forward to her visits! Kristin is a gem and I know always has my Carlie girl’s best interest. My hubs and I are first time Rover users and are very blessed to have found Kristin!

Schedule
This is the perfect supplemental job for me because 1) I recently started my own children's book business, so I work from home during the week and have the flexibility to run out and take care of your furr-end whenever you need me, and 2) I LOVE dogs!! :)
