I have two dogs of my own, Sadie, my sweet 8 year old mixed German Shepherd rescue, and Wrigley, my playful 1.5 year old German Shepherd with elbow dysplasia. So I truly understand different temperaments, energy levels, and care needs.

Kristie is the best always takes her time and loves on your babies. We always feel good leaving them in her care when we are out of town.
Kristie was wonderful!! I’m so happy we found her. She was very sweet to the dogs had patience with our older dog and even gave free belly rubs to our little dog. She was good at communicating with us and sending pictures even of our shy kitty who mostly stayed under the bed. I highly recommend Kristie if you’re looking for a reliable and kind sitter for your fur babies 😊

I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide care throughout the day, whether it’s regular drop ins or working from your home to keep your pet company. I treat every dog like my own with patience, love, and personalized attention.

Pet safety and comfort are my top priorities. At my home, pets will enjoy a secure, fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and potty breaks. Inside, they’ll be part of the family, supervised, loved, and kept on their normal routine as much as possible. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’ll respect your space and follow all care instructions closely. I can also crate if needed and always ensure a calm, trustworthy environment where your pet feels safe and happy. Communication and reliability are key, and I’ll treat your pets like my own.

A typical day
A typical day with me is all about making your pet feel safe, happy, and loved. I like to start with a nice walk or some playtime to burn off energy. I adjust to each pet’s personality, whether that means fetch in the yard, a game of tug of war, or simply relaxing together. I enjoy incorporating fun activities like puzzle toys for mental stimulation, practicing tricks for treats, or exploring new walking routes to keep things exciting. If your pet prefers quiet companionship, I’m just as happy to provide a calm, cozy environment with belly rubs and ear scratches. Every pet has their own routine and favorite things, and I make sure their day feels as close to “normal” as possible while adding a little extra love and fun.

- It’s very important for me to know any special needs, routines, or behaviors ahead of time so I can give your pet the best care possible. This includes things like: • Medical needs (medications, dietary restrictions, mobility issues, allergies) • Daily routines (feeding schedules, walk times, sleep habits) • Social behaviors (comfort level around new people, kids, other dogs or animals) • Quirks or triggers (fear of loud noises, protective behavior, separation anxiety, etc.) The more I know, the more I can make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for just like they would with you.
