Hi! I’ve been a dog and pet sitter for friends & family for many years including winter-long dog and cat sits while a family was in Florida for the winter. I began boarding dogs 8 years ago in my home & we’ve enjoyed getting to know so many more wonderful pups & owners. I take dogs 40 lbs & under in a small group setting to allow for personalized care with time outdoors, puzzles, tunnel time and plenty of snuggles.

Kristi was such a provision for our family to be able to travel together—and we knew our furry family members were in good care. She sent updates on a regular basis both via pictures and words. First time at Doggy Day Care for our three dogs! We felt very comfortable leaving them in the care of Kristi. It was fun to receive a couple updates and cute pictures during the day as well as their "report card" after their stay. Schedule
Meals are fed separately to prevent arguments. A 2 door gate system to prevent escape and I’m usually outside or at the door for potty breaks depending on the pups size. I have a fenced in area of the yard suitable for small dogs off our deck and patio. The whole yard isn’t fully fenced in. Dogs sleep in the bed with humans, in dog beds or kennels~ as they do at home, whenever possible. Playtime includes toy time, mental enrichment games, puzzles or tunnel time. Outdoors: walks, yard play, wading pool &/or playing in the snow. We take breaks & snuggle too. I adjust activity to your dogs' age, need level & weather.

Photos & updates are sent with each stay. Meds are tracked on med sheets. Dogs are allowed on human beds, in crates, dog beds or a couch as they prefer.
A typical day
We wake up, make sure everyone has potty breaks, food, water and clean up. Then we have play time. Fetch or toy time, Mental stimulation games, puzzles & tunnel time, sniff games and hide and seek. Outdoor walks, yard play, kitty pool, playing in the snow and some activities are selected by you: can they go on walks? Trails? Can they go in the kitty pool? It’s optional without added rates. Owners are updated with photos of some of our activities from the day! I only take 3 dogs at a time.
