Hi! I’ve watched at dogs & cats for friends & family for many years including winter-long sits. 7 years ago I began boarding dogs in my home & we’ve enjoyed getting to know so many wonderful pups & owners. I board dogs 40 lbs & Under in a small group setting to allow for personalized care, a home life feel for your dog, with time outdoors and play including puzzles, tunnel time and plenty of snuggles.

We love Kristi! Kristi absolutely loves the dogs she cares for. We know Hazel is being loved and cared for each time she stays with her. Kristi keeps her occupied with puzzles and tunnels, walks, play time, with any other dogs and rest time. Kristi is the best! Highly recommend every time!
Kristi is the absolute best caretaker of our baby Hazel. Hazel is so happy when she is with Kristi and loves all the other 4 legged friends she makes at her home, comes home tired from all the play, activities and walks.

Schedule
Meals are fed separately to prevent arguments. A 2 door gate system to prevent escape and I’m usually outside or at the door for potty breaks depending on the pups size. I have a fenced in area of the yard suitable for small dogs off our deck and patio. The whole yard isn’t fully fenced in. Dogs sleep in the bed with humans, in dog beds or kennels~ as they do at home, whenever possible. Playtime includes toy time, mental enrichment games, puzzles or tunnel time. Outdoors: walks, yard play, wading pool &/or playing in the snow. We take breaks & snuggle too. I adjust activity to your dogs' age, need level & weather.

A typical day
We wake up, make sure everyone has potty breaks, food, water and clean up. Then we start play time. Fetch or toy time, Mental stimulation games, puzzles & tunnel time, sniff games and hide and seek. Outdoor walks, yard play, kitty pool, playing in the snow. Owners are updated with photos of some of our activities from the day! I only take 3 dogs at a time.
