I grew up with the cutest mutt! I picked him out in Kindergarten and begged my dad to let me take Cowboy home as my very first pet. He taught me a bit about responsibility and fun! Not only was Cowboy my newest best friend, but I also grew up around my aunt’s Labs, Dachshund, and Yorkshire Terrier. My days always felt more complete when my aunt would ask me and my brother to come over and dog sit while our cousins were out of town. Later - in college- I lived with my best friends and we had a collection of furry friends: cats and several dogs. We had beautiful Border Collies, Pitbulls, Boxers, Labs, and of course a couple of mixed breeds. There was no such thing as a bad day. Even after getting knee surgery - I had so many furry animals making me feel better! Eventually, I found myself renting from landlords that didn't accept pets and that was devastating. But I am finally in a home which allows pets again! The home is in a cozy neighborhood with a fenced backyard and plenty of parks nearby. Your loved furries will definitely get the exercise they need!
