I will try and make the pet as comfortable as I can as well as try to keep them on the schedule that they are accustomed to. I do work during the week at Salem Animal Hospital(Monday 8:30a-6:30p, Tuesday 7:00a-5:00p, Thursday 7:00a-5:00p, and Friday 8:30a-6:30p). I will make your home my home base while away.

I will keep them on their schedule as much as possible so that their routine is not disrupted. I also love to take hikes so with your permission, I will do that with them to ensure they get enough exercise to get their wiggles out. If we dont go on a hike, they will get at least two walks a day as long as the weather cooperates. They will have all the cuddles they can handle.

I have no breed preference. I'll take care of all of them the same. As long as I know their quirks, favorite things, and what makes them happy, I will give them the best care that I possibly can.
A typical day
Walks will be taken daily. Can also do hikes because I love the outdoors and go on them frequently. All with clients permission of course. Plus try to maintain their normal activities and schedule.

I have 3 dogs of my own. I also have 2 cats and 2 guinea pigs.I have worked at a boarding kennel(About Pets Center), a vet clinic (Hanging Rock Animal Hospital), RCACP (Roanoke), a dog park/daycare/boarding facility(Six Wags Dog Park), have worked closely with a traveling vet(Dr. Karen Bowman) and I currently work full-time at Salem Animal Hospital. In addition I have also watched family, friends, and neighbors pets while they were on vacation.

I have an elderly dog that I was anxious about leaving, but Kristi's experience and calm approach really made me feel better. She's extremely professional and took great care of my dog.
Kristi was an awesome sitter! She was attentive to our shy pup, and both of our dogs were left tired and content after a weekend with her. She spent a ton of time with them and clearly cares about the animals she works with. We definitely plan to book her again in the future!
Kristi was great with our young puppy. She provided immediate feedback and pictures too! She was very respectful of our home and left everything neat and tidy.
