Pet care fits well into my current routine. I am a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine student, and I am currently on summer break. I also work a part-time job and have a couple of clinical rotations lined up, but overall my schedule is quite flexible. This allows me to dedicate consistent, attentive time to pet care and adjust to the specific needs and routines of each pet. I prioritize reliability and making sure every pet receives the care, attention, and consistency they need while their family is away.

About Kristi G.
Safety, trust & environment
I provide care in my client’s home, where pets are most comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s established routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, litter box care, playtime, and any specific instructions provided by the owner. I am attentive to each pet’s behavior and needs, and I make sure they feel safe, calm, and cared for while their family is away. Because I am a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine student, I am comfortable caring for pets with a range of needs and can recognize when something seems off. I also make sure to keep the home clean, secure, and respected, and I provide regular updates so owners feel confident and connected while they’re gone.
Information Kristi G. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for a pet, it’s important for me to know their normal routine, feeding schedule, medical history, medications, allergies, and any behavioral quirks such as fear of strangers, leash reactivity, or anxiety. I also like to know how they communicate stress or discomfort, what comforts them, and any commands or cues they respond to. For cats, information about litter box habits, hiding spots, and preferred enrichment helps me ensure they feel safe and relaxed. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can provide consistent, personalized, and stress-free care.
A typical day
I provide walks, playtime, enrichment games, and basic training for dogs, and interactive toys, gentle play, and calm companionship for cats and senior pets too.
