I am home on the property and care for dogs full-time, which allows me to provide close supervision and structured small-group play throughout the day. Daycare Available Tuesday, Thursday, & Saturday Drop-off: 7:00–9:00 AM Pickup: 4:00–6:00 PM Boarding Boarding is available most days with scheduled check-in and check-out times. Check-in: 2:00–6:00 PM Check-out: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM Later pickups may include a daycare stay so dogs can continue enjoying their day here. Transportation Available Pickup, drop-off, and roundtrip transportation is available within 25 minutes of Baldwin, including: Cornelia Toccoa Carnesville Baldwin Clarkesville Alto Homer Commerce

Adventure Awaits Fido! is a great fit for dogs who: • enjoy being around other dogs • like outdoor play and exploring • are comfortable in a small supervised group environment Our space works especially well for social dogs who enjoy running, sniffing, and relaxing with a group of friends. For safety and group harmony, dogs should be friendly with other dogs and comfortable in a social setting. If you're unsure whether your dog would enjoy this environment, I'm always happy to schedule a quick meet-and-greet and temperament to see if it's a good match. (Sometimes you may be surprised how much your dog likes it here!)

Morning Daycare dogs arrive between 7–9 AM. After everyone settles in, the group heads outside for supervised playtime where dogs can run, sniff, and socialize in the shaded play areas. Midday After play, dogs come inside for rest time and quiet time. This helps everyone recharge and keeps the energy calm and balanced. Afternoon In the afternoon, dogs head back outside for another play session. Depending on the day, this may include enrichment activities, exploring the play areas, or relaxing in the shade with the group. Evening (Boarding Dogs) Boarding guests enjoy more outdoor time, dinner, and a relaxed evening before settling in for the night in a comfortable indoor space. Throughout the day, dogs are closely supervised in small groups to keep play safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Welcome to Adventure Awaits Fido, a small-group dog boarding retreat on a peaceful lakeside property in Baldwin, Georgia. For 2 years, our lakeside dog retreat in Baldwin serves families in nearby areas including Cornelia, Toccoa, Clarkesville, Commerce, Homer, Alto, and Carnesville. Dogs stay in a calm, home-style environment with close supervision, structured playgroups, and plenty of time to relax, sniff, and explore. Many of our guests enjoy nature walks, enrichment games, and optional adventure hikes — like a little vacation in the woods. Dogs who visit regularly build friendships and look forward to their adventures here.

Kristi was so fantastic and a true lifesaver when we needed someone to watch our pup last minute. She provided us with photo/video updates every day and made sure our boy had the best time. I would 10/10 recommend her to anyone.
Kristi was very accommodating with drop off and pick up times, and took great care of our dogs alongside her own. She has a great rural setting for dogs to explore.
Kristi goes the extra mile as a pet sitter. She updated me with fantastic pictures and positive comments. She is patient with my puppy Jasper and me. She's also very considerate. I will hire her again and keep in touch.
I cannot recommend kristy enough! She was absolutely amazing as the dog chaperone for my wedding. From the very first meet and greet, I felt completely at ease with her. she asked thoughtful questions, showed genuine care, and I knew my dogs would be in great hands. She truly cared for my dogs as if they were her own and was 100% dedicated to making sure everything went perfectly. I’m so grateful for her help on such an important day, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and professional to take care of their pets.
