A typical day
When I pet sit, I like to make sure every pet gets attention, exercise, and activities that match their personality and energy level. Some of the fun activities I do include: • Playtime: Games like fetch, tug-of-war, laser pointer chasing, or interactive toys to keep pets mentally and physically engaged. • Walks and outdoor time: Regular walks, exploring the neighborhood, or supervised yard play so they get fresh air and exercise. • Enrichment activities: Puzzle toys, treat games, or hide-and-seek with toys to keep their minds active. • Cuddle and bonding time: Plenty of affection, brushing, and quiet time for pets that enjoy relaxing and being close to people. • Training reinforcement: Practicing basic commands like sit, stay, and come with positive reinforcement if the owner would like. • Special care activities: For pets that need medication or extra care, I make sure their routine is followed while keeping them comfortable and calm. My goal is to keep pets happy, active, and feeling safe while their owners are away, while maintaining the routine they’re used to at home.
