I’ve been told I have Disney princess energy when it comes to animals. Whether they have 4 legs, 2 legs, no legs, even 6 legs or more, they have my heart and we click. I’m owned by the world’s sweetest and most mischievous Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Eva, who gets along with everyone, a rescue feral cat that think she’s a dog, a small flock of special needs chickens, and a demanding guinea pig who is always looking for a snack. I also live with my two children (ages 8 and 11) who also share in my passion for animals. We live in a beautiful, air conditioned home near the Santa Teresa foothills. In the past I’ve owned and trained working breeds and have considerable experience with large dogs. I’ve had my share of senior animals and those with special needs so I’m comfortable administering medicine, including injections, if needed. I used to professionally show dogs and would frequently board, groom, and travel with dogs for clients. I’ve dealt with all different personalities from every breed imaginable. It’s fundamentally about building a relationship with that individual dog to understand their needs so that they feel loved and valued. My passions are riding horses, training dogs, rescuing and rehabilitating animals, volunteering, and traveling. We are also a very fitness based family so everyone gets plenty of exercise while they’re with us. Your pup will come home happy and exhausted in the best possible way.
