Home FT, large fenced yard, fun!
With older kids, my dogs are my friends & guests during the day. We do everything together and I talk to my dogs all day long! (In a sane way. Haha.) Dogs have always been a part of my life & I respect, admire and unconditionally love them! They truly are man’s best friend and I would willingly do anything for them. That said, I understand pack rules and expect dogs to engage and play within boundaries. If someone is having a bad day (we all do) I believe in a little alone time until they feel happier. Experience ranges from my Grandparents farm puppies, rehabilitating a previously abused Sheltie & caring for a Pomeranian with cancer. I even did my Dental Hygiene baccalaureate thesis cleaning canine mouths at a veterinary hospital! We’ve also had a dozen or so dogs of our own: Maltese, American Eskimo, Mutt, St Bernard, Lhasa Apso, Poodle. I am happy to answer any questions or concerns before your visit. I also would love to communicate via text throughout my guest’s stay - to make it the best experience for everyone!

Schedule
I’m self-employed part time, so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available to board weekends and weekdays because my husband and I work from home.

Safety, trust & environment
In my experience I’ve learned dogs do best with lots of love, praise and pets. We reserve any verbal correction for safety measures (ie running into danger). I prefer to use treats as bribery in these cases, but I am prepared to save an animal no matter what.

A typical day
I live in a 1-square mile neighborhood with a park that is 80 yards away! It’s a great park with shade and lots of grass. I also have a waterfall in my fenced backyard - my dogs LOVE to drink and play from it (it is man-made so the water is safe). Also grass and plenty of room to run and chase frisbees, balls, and birds!
