For several years, I ran my own local dog walking and pet sitting business in my community, caring for neighbors' dogs multiple days a week. Through this, I became highly adept at managing real-world challenges, including stimulating picky eaters and safely navigating walks with dogs who can be reactive or misbehave around other animals. My background also includes extensive hands-on experience with specialized medical and training needs. I have owned and cared for dogs who were blind, diabetic, and on strict dietary restrictions. Additionally, I raised a future dog guide, successfully guiding her through foundational socialization and obedience training. Kristen is an absolute gem! Ellie loves going over and spending the Kristen and her dogs. Ellie has definitely made Kristen her second family and she gets very excited when we drop her off. Pick-up time Ellie is so exhausted from all the playtime and snuggle time she gets. Cannot say enough good things about Kristen.
Maggie had a fun stay with Kristen! She had lots of attention and I was sent some cute photos during her stay :) We will book with Kristen again!
Kristen was amazing! Very accommodating to our schedule and was amazing with my elderly dog. She was very responsive with communication and took some great pictures of my dog throughout the day. Highly recommend!!

Schedule
As a university student living at home, I build my weekly routine around dedicated pet care. While I attend classes on campus most days of the week, I schedule specific, reliable windows for dog walks and drop-in visits, which I always handle personally. For doggy day care and boarding, our home operates as a true family team! My parents, sister, and I share the responsibility, meaning your pet gets constant love, supervision, and companionship from all of us throughout the day. Whether I am coming to you for a neighborhood walk or welcoming your pup into our supportive family environment, your pet’s care is always our top priority.

Because I do not have a fully fenced yard, I am very vigilant about leash safety, whether we are walking around the neighborhood or visiting a nearby open-space park. My background running a local pet care business and handling dogs who could be unpredictable around other animals means I am always scanning the environment and anticipating potential triggers. When caring for pets in your home, I respect your space entirely, closely follow your established safety routines, and ensure your home is secure before I leave. You can rest easy knowing your pet is with an experienced, attentive handler who understands exactly how to keep them safe, secure, and happy on every single outing.
