I’ve been a caretaker in one form or another since I was very young. I started as the neighborhood baby/pet/house sitter, and later became a professional nanny—where caring for children also meant caring for the family pets and homes. Although I stepped away from nannying, I still love caring for animals. I travel for work about a week out of every month, which makes having a pet of my own difficult right now, so pet sitting has been the perfect way to stay connected to animals while helping other pet parents feel at ease. I’ve been dog and house sitting for friends and referrals, and I treat every pet like they’re my own—with patience, affection, attention, and reliable care. Whether your pup loves long walks, your cat loves playtime, cuddles, or just a calm and consistent companion, I’m happy to provide dependable, loving care in the comfort of their own home.

I follow the house rules and routine to help the pets remain calm while their families are gone. I also believe consistency is key in building trust with them too. Safety first! My mother is a trauma nurse so I am always looking out for any potential danger and I’m a very cautious person.

We have had Kristen take care of our dogs on multiple occasions including staying in our home to care for them. The first time she stayed with them one of our dogs was a 6 month old puppy. I was really nervous as we were still in the throws of potty & crate training. She followed our directions and our puppy had no set backs. We trust her not only with our pets, but our home as well. She is trustworthy, responsible and respectful. They are always excited to see her and love when she is here. She treats/cares for our dogs and home as if they were her own. We are so happy to have met Kristen and to have found such an amazing person to care for our dogs.
Kristen is such a great dog sitter! Followed every instruction with very few questions, took my dog on all his favorite hikes and left my place super clean. Would have her back any and every time!!

Kristen is an incredible caretaker for my pet Lil Boosie! She has always given him tons of love and treated him like her own. I know my pet is in the best hands when she is watching him and highly recommend using Kristen!!
Kristin was amazing! Our pup is super selective and the minute she met Kristen, she melted in her arms and we knew she was in great hands! She is very attentive and communicative so we always felt she was on top of all of our pups needs! A+ service and highly recommend her!
Kristen is truly a lifesaver. I trust her implicitly, and I’m pretty sure my dog Sookie might love her even more than she loves me:) She’s responsible, kind, and genuinely loving … the kind of person you feel lucky to find. Having her stay in my home and care for my girl gave me total peace of mind. It’s hard to find people you can trust these days, but with Kristen, I absolutely can. I was lucky to find her and you will be too!

Programa
I have a pretty flexible work week and I’m off on weekends. I wake up on the earlier side so I will have plenty of time to do the morning pet duties. I’m a homebody so my evenings are spent reading, catching up on work, watching tv- so that also leaves plenty of time in the evening for whatever your pet’s needs are! I do love to walk outside so hopefully your pet does too!
