🐾 A Loving Home for Your Small Dog
Hi there! Our home has changed a bit since our profile was last active — but our love for dogs hasn’t gone anywhere. Our sweet Bichons, Paco and Dori, have since crossed the rainbow bridge. We miss having dogs in our home every day, and we’re excited to open our space again to care for your fur baby while you’re away. I’m an experienced dog sitter and lifelong dog lover. My children (now 11 and 9) grew up with our dogs and are gentle, respectful, and incredibly loving with animals. We also have cats, so your dog should be comfortable around feline friends. What your pup can expect: - A calm, structured, dog-loving home - A large fenced backyard for supervised play - Plenty of tennis balls and snuggles - Consistent routines and clear communication with you - Updates and photos while you’re away I love learning each dog’s personality - their quirks, preferences, routines, and comfort needs - so I can make their stay feel as close to home as possible. A Few Important Notes: - We welcome small dogs (20 lbs and under). - Dogs must be comfortable around children and cats. - No large-breed puppies, even if they meet the weight requirement. Over Christmas, we left our 8 month puppy for the first time with Kristen. Naturally, we were very nervous leaving her for the first time with a "stranger". Our doggie seemed well cared for and must have played nonstop with the other dogs and Kristen's children, as she was exhausted when we got her home. I really appreciate that Kristen was willing to take in a younger puppy and that she also limits it to smaller dogs, as ours is only 8 pounds.
My dogs (Dolly and Charli) did great in Kristen’s care. They were calm and happy upon my return. I was pleased and very comfortable with her home, fenced in back yard and the entire environment in general. Clean, safe and perfect for my dogs! Kristen was friendly and down to earth and I felt great about leaving my dogs in her care.
Kristen was very accommodating and took good care of our puppies. We hardly ever leave them with anyone, but she welcomed them into her house and let us know how they were handling the transition. She kept all 3 of our dogs for 8 days. It was much easier on us to have a good vacation knowing that they were doing well. I would recommend Kristen and would use her to watch our puppies again. They came home happy and tired!

Pet care fits seamlessly into our daily rhythm. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so dogs receive consistent supervision, morning and evening walks, backyard playtime, and plenty of structured attention throughout the day.
