Information Kristen Q. would like to know about your pet

PLEASE NOTE: I am unable to board dogs over 40 lbs. It helps to know the breed, age, and temperament, as well as if the dog is dog selective in any way. It is also important to know about any special needs. I am unable to house sit for trips longer than 2-3 days.

A typical day

As dogs are as different from one another as people, whatever your dog enjoys the most! I do like to take small groups of dogs on hikes at a couple of local sites.

Pet care experience

I have extensive experience pet sitting for dogs (all ages), cats, rabbits, chickens and other birds, small mammals, and farm animals, including animals with special medical needs. I also have experiencw with exotic pets. I am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR. I have been a volunteer for both an animal shelter and a local animal rescue league chapter, as well as at many events that benefit animals, and have had pets of my own since childhood. I currently live with a wonderful, sweet, sassy 7 year old female Corgi. I owned 2 wonderful Siberian Huskies who lived to be seniors, and in the course, required regular medications, special diet, physical therapy exercises, assisted walking, and wound cleaning, so I am very familiar with dealing with health issues, and am able to recognize when an animal is in any distress. As I believe emotional well-being is just as important as physical, I will always spend time with your pet, or exercise him/her with his/her favorite toy or game. If your pet is in training, I would be happy to reinforce what he/she is learning. Caring for animals is not just what I do, it's who I am! I look forward to hearing from you! Please feel free to check out my Facebook page under Pawsibilities Pet Services for reviews!

Kristen & her pup, Stella were welcoming & kind to our elderly Westie. We had a lovely meet & greet, Kristen was an exceptionally responsive, clear communicator & sent us pictures of & updates about our dog’s stay. Thank you, Kristen!

Kristen from the start was very communicative with us. We did a meet and greet first outside and then brought the dogs inside the home. Kristen answered all my questions. When I dropped off my dog, she was ready and friendly. While away I received pictures which I absolutely loved. It was so comforting to see the comfort of my dog. At pick up Kristen had my stuff and him all ready to go. Kristen was great and will be using again!!
