Hello Neighbors! I adore dogs and cats and enjoy taking special care of each one in La Jolla and surrounding areas. I have been dog walking, dog sitting, and caring for cats for six years. I provide healthy, gentle, and attentive care. I am an ex-certified medical assistant whose medical skills transfers to animals. Now, I am a healthy home coach who still enjoys caring for dogs and cats as my side job. It makes me happy to make them happy. As someone with multiple chemical sensitivities (MCS) as well as allergies, I can offer you fragrance-free pet care, as I don’t use any scented household or laundry products in my home. This also means that I can’t go into others’ homes with air fresheners, perfumes, or cigarette smoke. Also please note that I can only go into homes built after the 1980s, as I have a severe allergy to lead paint. I hope to hear from you and meet you and your furry ones soon!

Kristen was great with our three dogs! She was very devoted and would send pics every time she came in for visits! We’ll definitely use her again when we head out of town ?
Kristen is absolutely amazing!!! I have an 18 year old Tabby that requires extra time, love and attention because of his age. I was very hesitant at first to have someone other than a family member look after him while I traveled but my hesitation was quickly put to ease the minute we met Kristen. She was very patient and extremely attentive. Every day that I was gone she sent me pictures of my sweet man eating and taking his cat naps. He was not stressed at all! She cleaned his area and even took my garbage out. When I returned home from my trip he was super relaxed and I could tell instantly that my fur-baby was not only just taken care of but he felt loved while I was away!
Thank God for Kristen! She is quick to respond, flexible for visits and GREAT with my puppy. He is always excited to see her! She sends cute pictures during visits which is a fun and caring touch that I really appreciate. I highly recommend her!
Kristen is very dependable and caring. I don’t have any concern for my pets when I’m gone for a few hours or several days. She keeps me assured with frequent photos or texts. I highly recommend Kristen to all pet owners for her reliability and the loving care she provides.

My schedule is flexible, so the pet owner can pick the day and time. I am usually available seven days a week for your convenience.

In my home, I have two friendly dogs, and yours would be free to walk around anywhere, just as my dogs are. In your home, I would care for your dog or cat however you instructed me to do so.

A typical day
I let the dog owner determine this, but I do love to walk on the beach. I also enjoy throwing a ball or toys for dogs to fetch and engaging cats with cat toys.
