I love pets and they love me!
I am currently accepting new clients. No matter what your reason is for being gone, your pet will be in excellent hands. I have had dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. As a child, I would rather have played with my dogs than my toys. I have two very energetic 2 year old Rat Terriers who we recently adopted. I’ve been through all the stages a fur mom could have, from puppyhood and obedience training to broken legs and medications and more. I also have a cat Sophie. My oldest dog lived to 18. Sadly she passed in 2023. Each pet has its own temperament and personality. I try to match activities to what they are used to. It is often much easier for a pet to adapt to someone coming to their home than to join a foreign pack and surroundings. I can give oral medications and care for seniors too. I do work during the daytime, but my hours are flexible, and I work remotely, except on Wednesdays when I have to go to the office during the day. I will need wifi access and preferably a desk space or table. I would be able to spend most of the day, evenings, and night at your home. Just let me know if your pet has any special needs.

Schedule
I would try to emulate your schedule as close as possible. I work remotely, except on Wednesdays so I would be at your house most of the time. Depending on when your stay is, I may have appointments to go to. 30 to 45 minute daily walk for dogs are included unless specified otherwise or weather prevents walking (storms, unsafe conditions, extreme heat). Please let me know if your dog should not be walked and alternative play can be arranged for exercise. Fetch in the yard or indoor play, for example.

Safety, trust & environment
I strive to follow your pet's normal schedule. All gates will be shut after walks so that they cannot escape. I also monitor your house for any issues like water pipes breaking in winter.

We can go for walks around your neighborhood or to a dog park. Playing is good fun. Let me know your preferences and routines. Some dogs love others and some are just more people friendly..
