Constant Care for Your Special Pet
I work from home full time, and would love to care for your pet! I only care for one animal at a time and never leave for more than 2 hours, which is why my prices are higher than others. I offer doggy day care (drop your pet at my place while you go to the office), boarding at my apartment, or staying overnight at your place while you’re on vacation. My specialty is pets that are older or that require medication or other special care such as separation anxiety or aggression. I’m experienced and feel comfortable administering most kinds of medication, including shots and pills. Senior dogs in particular have a special place in my heart. I am a true animal lover and love cats, dogs, smaller mammals, reptiles, fish and more. I can make sure that your pet feels totally comfortable and at home with toys, treats, walks, pets or anything else that makes them happy. Let’s chat!

Minnow loves hanging out with Kristen!
I was really nervous to leave my dog, Harley, with someone new while I went away on a work trip for a few days due to her history of separation anxiety. However, Harley thankfully had a very comfortable time staying with Kristen! I really appreciated how communicative Kristen was, as being kept in the loop on how Harley was doing helped me to feel stress-free while I was away. I’d definitely book with Kristen again!
The best period.
Couldn't say more lovely things about Kristen. We don't usually leave our dog with new people because he has a little bit of separation anxiety but Kristen met us before hand and was an absolute pleasure to communicate with and work with. When we discussed her sending a picture once per day she ended up sending three to four pictures per day! She really worked hard to give us comfort, check in frequently, and tell us how our little puppy was doing. Will book again!
Kristen was a wonderful housesitter for our 3 y/o Wheaten Terrier! It was clear that our pup was relaxed and well cared for while we were away and our apartment was left clean and exactly how we left it. Kristen sent us updates and pictures during our vacation which made us feel comfortable that he was in good hands. We will definitely reach out for future stays!
Kristen was a FABULOUS sitter for our Great Pyrenees mix Kayla! She stayed at our apartment with Kayla for almost a week and was super communicative with us (since we missed our girl, we asked for a lot of pics and updates). Kristen kept to Kayla's walking & feeding schedule, so she felt super comfortable while we were gone - Kayla has dealt with separation anxiety in the past, and that was no issue with Kristen sitting her. Kristen also left our apartment super neat and clean which was amazing to come home to. We will definitely rebook Kristen in the future!

Schedule
I work from home full time in a flexible job so can happily take time during the day to walk, feed, and play with your pet. I never leave for more than 2 hours at a time while I’m watching your pet.

As a former Girl Scout I always leave places cleaner than I found them! Whether it’s bringing your items to my place to make your pet comfortable or learning their quirks and walking routes at your place, I’m happy to make sure their routine is as normal as possible when they’re with me.
A typical day
I like to learn each individual dog's personality and do activities that they love! Fetch, cuddling, tug of war, being brushed, belly rubs, baths, you name it.
