Your pets best friend
I have experience as a dog owner (I've had 3 Shiba Inus and now have 1 lab mix) as well as experience being a petsitter for cats/dogs of all sizes including animals with health issues such as loss of hearing and partial blindness, and understand the importance of making the pets feel at home when their parents are away. Back at home I volunteered for a NYC Shiba rescue organization and also did volunteer work for an animal shelter in Asheville. My love for dogs and animals of all kind is something I have had since early childhood. I have a 8 year old lab-mix named Kona that I rescued when she was two. I’m our spare time we go for walks, work on dog training (to potentially work as a therapy dog at hospitals), go swimming and make regular trips to Petco.

Safety, trust & environment
I typically start with a meet and greet before committing to watching a pet (can make an exception in some cases). This allows me to introduce myself to your pet to make sure they are comfortable with me before you go out of town and also to understand what you would need from me while I’m watching your pet (dietary needs, typical walk time, pet habits, etc). Before each session I always send a message you know when I’m arriving and then when I’m leaving and include plenty of photos when I’m there!

Kristen was a total pro. On short notice she let our Bernadoodle out. He was being a puppy and kept her on her toes. She stayed in contact with us during the visit
Kristen was absolutely wonderful! My wife and I were nervous about using this app for the first time, and Kristen completely calmed all our fears. She was very detailed in all her questions to make sure that’s Maicee was well taken care of. She communicated with my wife and I all throughout our trip, and sent lots of pictures so that we knew that our pupper was having fun. We will absolutely be using Kristen the next time we go out of town.
Kristen was excellent! She took such great care of my fur babies and left the house spotless! It was great to be able to go away and know my babies were in great hands. I’ll definitely be using her again! Thanks Kristen!

Schedule
I work in marketing and have a hybrid work schedule. I’m available for dog walking and drop in visits near the Brentwood / Nashville area.

- I’d love to hear about your dogs / cats personality and likes/ dislikes. Information on typical walk and feeding times are always helpful along with information on medication and what you would need from me while you’re gone. In addition, if your pet has allergies or can’t eat a certain type of treat that’s great to know in advance!
