I have a fenced in, large, backyard. I live in a friendly neighborhood, where I know all of our neighbors. I have 1 very friendly dog and 2 cats, all of which are extremely dog friendly and are used to having foster dogs & pet sitting clients come in and out. I have the space to contain my cats if needed. For safety purposes, I do require dogs to be crated when I’m not home and overnight.

Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Kristen (I go by my middle name, Lauren)! I’ve been around animals before I started walking. I contribute my love of animals to my mother, who couldn’t hurt a fly. I’ve had my own animals since I was 20 years old. I work alongside my local animal shelter and have fostered for them for the last 5 years. I am also on the board of a nonprofit (Friends of the Tipton County Animal Shelter) that helps animals in our community. I have experience with dogs of all ages and most breeds. I also had a Catahoula that was born deaf and partially blind, so I have experience with dogs with disabilities as well. Big personalities? High energy? Zero manners? I’ve got it. I’ve worked with everything from zoomie-fueled chaos gremlins to sweet senior couch potatoes— and I know how to match their energy while still keeping things safe and structured. I’m comfortable with multi-dog households, strong pullers, feeding routines, crating, and basic meds. I don’t get overwhelmed easily, and I’m big on reading body language and keeping situations under control (so nobody makes bad life choices 👀). Whether your dog needs a good walk, a play session to burn off that extra, or just someone to hang with, I’ve got them covered. Expect happy, tired dogs and lots of tail wags when you get home.

Reviews

Kristen came to my house to check in on my two cats while I was out of town. My very independent cat warmed up to her very well, and she kept our boxes clean and did everything single thing I asked for! She had great communication as well. Thanks!

Awesome experience! She provided great care for my dogs while I was out of town. I highly recommend her!

Kept me updated and sent me lots of pictures of her! 10/10 will definitely book again 😊
Kristen was amazing. This was my first time using her to stay overnight with my sweet Huck. We did a meet and greet prior to her stay and I knew then she was the one best suited to care for my dog when I’m away. She went over and beyond my expectations. I will definitely be using her again. It was nice to get away and not have to worry about my dog because I knew he was in good hands. She even sent updated pics throughout the night and my baby was so happy with her. Thank you for loving my dog like your own.
