I have a flexable private practice and love to take walks and cuddle with the animals. Care for pets fit in well. I love traveling to peoples homes mostly in the work I do.

Safety, trust & environment
I care for pets by following their established routines and providing a safe, calm, and attentive environment. In my home, I make sure pets have a clean, pet-proofed space with plenty of supervision, regular potty breaks, exercise, and enrichment. I follow all feeding instructions carefully, administer medication if needed, and ensure pets get appropriate playtime, rest, and affection. In a client’s home, I respect the pet’s normal schedule to minimize stress. This includes feeding, walks or litter care, playtime, medication, and companionship. I also keep the home tidy, bring in mail or packages if requested, and provide regular updates with photos so owners feel confident their pet is happy and well cared for. Across all services, I prioritize safety, positive reinforcement, cleanliness, and clear communication with pet owners.

Information Kristen L. would like to know about your pet
I would find out what treats and food they are allowed to eat, times, amounts, medication, brushing, or anything that you find important with your animals!
A typical day
When pet sitting, I can make the experience fun and enriching by mixing play, exploration, and relaxation based on the pet’s personality. For dogs, interactive games like fetch, tug-of-war, or hide-and-seek with treats help burn energy, while short training sessions keep their minds engaged. Changing up walks with visits to places like Elizabeth Park or around the neighborhood. With cats I tend to use calmer activities, wand toys, laser play, or simple exploration with boxes and cozy spaces can keep them entertained. No matter the pet, taking cute photos or videos for the owner and spending relaxed time together helps build trust and makes the visit more enjoyable for both of you.

Because Your Pets Deserve the Best
Pet care experience
Caring for animals has been a lifelong passion of mine. I’ve had and cared for animals for most of my life. About ten years ago I fostered for 8 years, I’ve fostered both healthy and sick cats and dogs. During that time, I provided love, comfort, and the special attention each animal needed to thrive. For the last two years, I’ve also been caring for other people’s pets, treating each one as if they were my own. My clients consistently give me great reviews, noting my reliability, compassion, and deep understanding of animal behavior. Animals have always held a special place in my heart, and ensuring their safety, happiness, and well-being is something I take great pride in.
