We are a family of four: Kristen, Jeff, Vaeda (born May 2025) and Maggi (mini schnauzer rescue). We have a welcoming and fun home & go on hikes often. Maggi is a big scaredy-cat when it comes to humans, but loves to meet new fur friends and can’t wait to meet yours! Your pup will have a friend in her for sure! We are happy to accommodate your pups needs and are excited to get to know their quirks! Our Daughter, Vaeda is also excited to meet your pup, though she’s much to small to play just yet! We keep her and pups at a safe distance always.

Our dogs are always so excited to see Kristen and Jeffrey when we drop them off and that is what always makes me feel so comfortable that they are being well taken care of. Always good about giving updates and sending photos. They are great sitters!!
Kristen & Jeffrey were amazing! My first time using them and I was impressed with the way they handled my senior dog Stumpy. They updated me daily with messages and photos. He looked comfortable and cared for. Thank you again for taking care of Stumpy!

Kristin and Jeffrey were lovely and we will definitely be using them again! They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable by doing things like showing us their space for a pre-visit meeting and sending daily photos of our doggies throughout their trip. I cannot recommend them enough :)
Kristen and Jeffrey were great with my anxious older girl. She immediately showed she liked them which was enough for me. I received daily updates and didn't have to worry while I was away. So worth it!

Schedule
I (Kristen) work from home most days (1-2 days in office), so your fur baby won’t be left alone for long most days. We are usually home on weekends and tend to go hiking when possible in the area. If your pup loves to walk, we love to bring them along!

Safety, trust & environment
We usually feed our pup in the mornings and give treats in the evenings when training (Maggi is a work in progress, we love training her new commands)! My husband (Jeff) takes the dog on morning walks, while I (Kristen) take her out after work around 5/6pm. Walks are usually 30 mins to 1 hour in length around the neighbourhood or a nearby park. Whenever possible we are outside on our back deck and Maggi joins us when she’s interested in company. Maggi is a lovely pup and she plays well with other dogs!

A typical day
I love to play with dogs, keep their brains stimulated and I especially love hiking with our pup! We also love to stay inside on cooler, rainy days - cuddles optional!
