Pet care experience
Travel Nurse who loves animals
I have been an ER nurse for over 13 years, and travel nurse for the past 6 years. I have seemed to emerse myself while on assignment volunteering at various animal shelters to give and receive much needed love while away from my permanent home. Would love to care for your fur baby as best as you would while you’re gone.

Ratings and reviews
Kristen was fantastic with our dogs even when our husky went full husky on the very first night. With one of our dogs being a new diabetic, it was great to have her expertise stay with the dogs so she could administer the insulin shot twice a day. We would definitely use Kristen again.
Kristin was absolutely amazing. She helped us out with a last minute trip and made it so we had three less things to worry about while we were gone (we have three dogs). I loved the photos and communication. She was very kind and responsive and our dogs seemed very happy and content with her.

We love Kristen! My dog Georgie goes to Kristen’s house once a week for doggy day care. Kristen is a great communicator and took good care with introducing Georgie to her dogs gradually and making sure everyone got along well. I love the photo and video updates. Thanks, Kristen!

One of the best experiences for my new pup was with Kristen. She communicated well and made sure Bo felt safe and comfortable and gave me peace of mind with videos and pictures! I’d absolutely come back to her again. Bobo had such a blast playing, running, cuddling, and so much more. I’m grateful!

Kristen is a kind and generous neighbor who managed to coax my very opiated fig out for a walk in the freezing cold and ice. Kristen is patient and gentle and was extremely helpful to me.

Kristen was amazing with both our furbabies! One of our dogs even had a bit of an emergency and Kristen took her right to her vet and was communicative about everything! Our babies were comfortable in the home and loved all the attention!!

Calendar and availability
Schedule
I will be working 3 nights 7pm- 7am a week as a ER/Trauma RN. I would love to spend time during my days off taking your dog out to the park or on long walks, or even just reading next to your more inactive dog. I typical love to get a little exercise in the morning hours, after my shift between, 8-10am. I only work three days, and the days I need rest, I am still able to care for your pet with feeding and potty and walking needs. I have generally fostered pups on my assignments but would like to transition to caring for your animal while you’re away.

Ideally I would do your same routine as you would, while you are gone. My schedule is very flexible and can vary on your needs.

A typical day
I love getting to know my new furry friend by engaging in activities they like. I have had some older dogs that just love to be connected to you while you read, and some energetic dogs that would love nothing more to run and play with a ball indefinitely. I welcome the chance to connect with your family member. My goal is to make time away from you the least stressful.
