Hello! I am Kristen and I have a lot of experience caring for canine companions. I often pet sit for my friends and neighbors, and they are always welcome to bring their dogs when they visit. Home FULL TIME, I will be able to provide your dog with the care and attention he deserves while staying with me. I care for only two dogs at a time, so your dog will receive lots of attention and enjoy a nice playmate. I grew up with dogs and loved having playmates by my side throughout my childhood. Our family dogs were first a Springer and then a Basset Hound. During my adult life I've had two dogs. They were both Boxers. Currently, I don’t have any canine pals of my own. I really am a dog-lover and an animal-lover. Your dog will receive one-on-one experienced attention from me. We'll play, take walks and snuggle on the sofa - if allowed. I hope you'll reach out to me so we can meet! About my yard I have a 3.5 foot brick wall enclosing my large back patio. My experience administering medication Yes, I have no problem administering medication when given specific instructions.

Kris went above and beyond for our little girl Chai! We recently left her for 10 days as we were leaving town for a very important 90th birthday. The day before we were supposed to drop her off, she passed a little blood while peeing. It was a Saturday so we had no choice but to take her to the Urgent Vet in Tucson. Got her all fixed up, 2 different medications, but we're now hoping Kris could deal with this problem while we were gone. Not only did she deal with it, she updated us daily, and totally exceeded our expectations for a first time stay. Our little girl was happy when we picked her up, it was obvious she had been well cared for!!
Kristen was amazing with Roy! She texted me a couple of hours into the day, I really appreciated that.

This was my 13 year old Jack Russell Terrier's first time staying with a sitter for 4 nights. Kristen had a calming presence when she met Bella . Bella was immediately comfortable and friendly with her. Bella has some special needs that Kristen felt very comfortable handling, so all went well while I was away. I will definitely book with Kristen again when I have to be away from home, knowing my dog will be in good hands and well-cared for while Im gone.
Kristen is such a lovely person. She was great with Vader and he was very comfortable with her. She was understanding of his needs and I was very happy with how he was cared for.
I felt very secure leaving Tia with Kristen! She was well taken care of and if we need her in the future, we would be happy to book again!

Schedule
I am home full-time and can care for dogs seven days per week. I play tennis 4xweek and am gone for no longer than 2.5 hours.

I have a gated front courtyard and an enclosed back patio with a 3.5 foot wall and gate. I am reliable, trustworthy and dog knowledgeable.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We will walk around my neighborhood, stretching our legs and soaking up some sunshine. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Dogs sleep on their bed in their crate, or if no crate, in my kitchen on their bed. Please feel free to bring your dog's favorite pillow, blanket, toys, or dog bed from home. Once I get to know a dog, I do allow them to sleep in my bedroom on their bed. Retired, I am home FULL TIME. While you are away you can be sure to rest easy knowing that your dog is being very well taken care of, given all of the love and affection he deserves.
