I’m a teacher with a pretty flexible schedule during the summer, so I will be free every day with the exception of a few weekend trips. I am also a high school distance running coach, so I will occasionally have summer runs with the kids to work around.

I live in a small ADU with two cats of my own, so I can only offer pet care in your home. I also find this is the best way to limit stress for your pet and offer you the additional peace of mind of a house sitter if desired. I’m available for drop-in’s for pets who need their space or for overnight visits for those who need more company.

A typical day
As a runner, I love the company of a high-energy dog on a hike or run. I’m just as happy to play fetch as I am to give snuggles and belly rubs. I also love teaching animals new tricks!

I grew up around dogs, cats, and horses, so from a young age, I was taught the importance of giving animals the specific care they need to thrive. I’ve been pet sitting since I was a teenager and never pass up the opportunity to make a new furry friend. I’m a work-from-home educator and cat parent just trying to make some extra income, so I will have plenty of free time for snuggles, treats, and chin scratches! I’m also a runner who would love to give your energetic pup the exercise they crave. Please reach out if I sound like a good fit, and I’d love to meet your pet and offer you peace of mind.

Kristen was very communicative and flexible with my last minute request. My usually shy cat took to her right away and was immediately comfortable upon our meet and greet. I felt very comfortable having Kristen come over while we were gone and felt happy knowing my cat was in great care, getting lots of snuggles and loves from her.
