While I have provided friends and family with house and petsitting for many years, I formally started with Rover when I was working on my MBA during COVID. I specialized in lunch-time dog walks which gave me a break during the day from my coursework. Currently, I do a little bit of freelance work but I am mostly a stay-at-home mom. My 8 year old daughter is a horse and dog lover. When it's aggreeable to both owner and sitter, I often bring her on my weekend overnights. We are both "Empaths," and as such, have a natural connection with animals.

As an owner of a young Australian Shepherd, I am keenly familar with the importance of providing both mental stimulation and physical exercise. I'm happy to take your pup for hikes or long walks, and don't mind muddy paws in my car (i'm used to it). Also, as a mom of a softball player, I have an arm that can throw a ball for a good hour if your pup prefers a game of fetch.

Adventures for Furry Friends!! While my nightly base rate might be higher than average, I don't charge extra for a second dog. As long as your pups get along and can be walked together, I only charge my base rate since it doesn't cost me extra in time or mileage. And, I'm happy to provide double the cuddles for free :) I specialize in larger breed dogs with high energy (I have an Aussie at home), but also love opportunities to spend time with smaller pups too. Do your dogs sleep in the bed? No problem, I'm happy for the snuggles. l also love capturing all the sweet and silly moments and provide clients with tons of photos!

Best sitter yet! We don't travel often but out of everyone I've hired on Rover Kristen is by far my favorite.
This is the second time Kristen has checked in on our fur babes, this time the dog too. All three are very happy and safe. Kristen asks great questions during the meet n greets and makes sure the animals are well taken care of according to any guidelines you share. She’s always sure to give them extra love too!
Kristen pet/ house dat for our 3 dogs and we couldn't be happier with the way she took such good care of them and our house. The smaller of the dogs needed special attention due to a spinal issue and Kristen was the best nurse maid for her during her stay. We would recommend Kristen to anyone needing excellent care for their families. Looking forward to seeing you again soon Kristen! Thank you!
Kristin - was simply amazing! If there was a 6 star rating I would give that to her. This was her first time with my boys Milo and Peewee and they loved her. She gave me updates as I was traveling, sent me pictures and well...think she spoiled them rotten. She gave me such comfort not only with regard to my pups but my home as well. She's the bomb!
