Hi there! I’m Kristen, and I am a big animal lover! I’ve grown up with both cats and dogs my whole life, and I have a dog of my own now named Remi (who absolutely LOVES making new doggie friends). I’ve always been the go-to person for taking care of my friends’ pets and for my family members’ pets, too. I also have experience with providing care for animals with special needs, both physically and behaviorally. Your pet will be treated with love and care and kindness when they stay with me and Remi! I’m currently working full time from home, so your pet will not be left alone during the day. I have a relatively flexible working schedule, so I am able to work around any needs your pet might have. I also take time for walks with my dog in the morning, afternoon, and evening, so plenty of time for exercise! I have a relatively spacious 1-bedroom apartment right next to the lakefront trail, in close proximity to the dog beach and several dog parks. My dog Remi is very sweet and friendly will love to play with your dog! I will provide walks and treats and playtime, and if I am out for any reason, I will crate both my dog and yours to keep them safe while not under my supervision.

Making sure your pet is comfortable and happy is my #1 priority. I provide playtime, walks, treats, and most importantly: love! In my home, I make sure the space is clean to ensure safety. When I am doing drop-ins, I make sure to respect your space and to keep it untouched.

I really appreciate Kristen's help with my Dottie. This was the first time I left her with anyone since adopting her and Kristen was very patient and caring towards my girl despite her anxiety about being in a new space. It sounded like she and Remi had a great time to playing together as well.
