Vet Tech - Large Fenced Yards!
Hi! My name is Kristen. I work as vet tech and have been working with animals my entire life. I have a love and passion for dogs and other animals and would love to care for them while you are gone! They are welcome to stay right in our home and become part of the family! I have extensive experience working with animals. I have been volunteering at my local humane society and fostering and rehabilitating dogs for many years. I have years of experience caring for and training sled dogs. I have been training my own dogs for a variety of sports such as Obedience, Rally, and Agility, Dock diving, and Barn Hunt for over ten years as well. I have worked at a doggie daycare and boarding facility for several years where I was constantly working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments (I love them all)! I also have experience pet sitting dogs in my home for many years. I have been working as a vet tech for the past 8 years. I have a flexible work schedule with a 3 hour lunch break and only about 5 minutes away from home. Your dog is never left alone for more than 4 hours at a time. We live just outside of town in a secluded and private area of Goldstream. We have a large fenced in yard for your dog to play in. We also have direct access to the Goldstream trails right from our property (which I hike very frequently with the dogs) We have a small team of sled dogs that are also part of our family. They are fenced off in a separate yard, but all are very friendly. If you have a dog that loves to play, we basically have our own dog park right here with lots of friendly dogs! I have several dogs that absolutely love to play with other dogs and would love to meet your dog. Please contact me if interested! I would love to watch your dog while you are away! I am very active with my own dogs and your dog is welcome to join right in! We play tons of fetch, go swimming and hiking, as well as dog sledding and skijoring in the winter. Kristen was amazing! She clearly knows dogs, and my Ralphie had the best time. He loved playing outside with the other dogs, and I felt completely at ease knowing he was in a safe, well-designed environment where he could have fun. She was also incredibly flexible when I needed to change my dates, which I really appreciated. Throughout his stay, she kept me updated with lots of pictures and messages, so I always knew how he was doing. So grateful to have found Kristen! Things worked out perfectly, great communication before and during my trip, she kept me updated on things, shared pics and videos of my dog during her stay with Kristen. I knew Rosey was in good hands and didn’t spend any time worrying about any of it! Definitely will be reaching out again next time I need a dog sitter!
I can't think of a better person to watch our pup than someone who is a vet tech with other dogs and fenced yard. Our pup was well cared for, we had regular updates throughout his visit and Kristen was very easy to communicate with.
Kristen was great with our two pups, both had a great time. Each dog’s needs were catered to. My ‘old lady’ could hang out inside with the couch group and the puppy could play with the other pups. They came back home so tired in the best way!

Schedule
I work several days per week as a vet tech, but have a 3 hour lunch break in the middle of the day. Your dog is never left alone for more than about 4 hours.

Here's where we'll take our walks. We will enjoy walks wherever your dog loves going most. Whether that is the dog park, swimming, or just strolling around town. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Whereever your dog is most comfortable. Time I'll spend with your dog I plan to spend every day with your dog and having them be just like part of the family. We will go on walks with my other dogs and have lots of cuddle time!
