My schedule is often in flux, but I am a tetris master with my schedule (manageable by me, but often protested by my spouse that just because I "can" fit things, doesn't mean I "should"). Pets always take priority, but I also have a little afternoon work when my kids are in school, I sing in both a barbershop chorus and quartet, and lately, I give a lot of my extra free time to smashing the patriarchy, fighting for our democracy in between park evenings and family times.

Safety, trust & environment
We are very selective about boarding dogs since one of our cats can be a fighter if provoked, but he's fine with dogs that can chill out. I'm a client's home, it depends upon the needs. I can do overnight stays or drop inside as needed.

Information Kristen E. would like to know about your pet
There isn't too much I usually need to know ahead of time other than if they benefit from kids (8 and 12 as of 2025) coming to pet and play with them. I often come without, but usually both the kids and the pets get a lot of joy from the encounters.
A typical day
A typical drop in will include your needs and depend on different things. Usually basic feedings, walks, water changes, litter cleaning, and some play or cuddles depending on how playful or cuddly the pet is. If my kids join, they're great at wearing out cats and pups with good play. They seriously wore out a golden retriever puppy!!

Pet care experience
I started sitting on rover when I wanted to make some extra income after sending my kids at an alternative private school in 2021. I've enjoyed it ever since, and so have my kids when they get to play with a kid- friendly dog or cat, although I do pet wit without them as well. I am an easy to talk to, friendly hoomin who understands the struggle can be real (I receive a lot of apologies for "messes" which range from: I get it, I have 2 kids, to ... "what mess?" 😳😬 I also have a very neurodiverse well of friends and family, and my favorite people are a little unique/ unhinged/ downright weird 😄 in other words, I value authenticity!
Reviews
Did a great job with Moe. Very thoughtful. Good communication.

Kristen was a wonderful house/dog sitter. She communicated, sent pictures, followed all the directions and we came back to a very happy dog and clean house! Highly recommend her for future adventures.

Kristen always goes above and beyond when caring for our pets. We know our babies are in good hands, and we are so thankful for her!

Kristin always keeps my furry buddies well looked after and loved
