I have a long history of pet care, and have extensive experience with the Shar Pei breed. I have owned Shar Pei's for over 25yrs and have done some rescue work with them as well. I have owned cats and dogs my entire life. I have experience with dogs that may need extra care such as meds or extra attention. Can't imagine life without them they just bring such a joy into our lives. You can have confidence in knowing while I'm taking care of your pet I will treat, and love them as my own. I know how hard it is to find the right person to take care of your pets, and will take the best of care of your 🐾🐾babies.

I'm so happy we found Kristen! We were reluctant to leave our babies with anyone again after several experiences that weren't so great. She treated them as her own. I was a little worried they wouldn't want to come home with me afterwards! The experience could not have been better.
Kristen was amazing with our 3 dogs, 2 of which are just puppies. She was able to accommodate us last minute and provide excellent service!
What a great experience! Kristen was amazing with our boxer, Lennox. She provided his daily medications and kept us updated with photos and videos throughout his stay. Her pup was very calm, which balanced well with our high-energy dog. Our meet and greet went great, even when Lennox got a little excited and had an accident, Kristen handled it with ease and kindness. I would not hesitate to bring Lennox back to see Kristen and Maelee. Thank you for taking such great care of our boy!

Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine, and I intentionally structure my schedule to ensure each pet receives consistent attention, exercise, and care. I plan my day around feeding times, walks, playtime, and check-ins so pets are never left unattended for long periods. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday visits, or evening care, I maintain a reliable and flexible schedule to meet each pet’s needs. My goal is to provide dependable, routine-based care so pets feel comfortable and owners feel confident knowing their pets are a priority.

I provide a safe, calm, and attentive environment tailored to each pet’s individual needs, whether in my home or my client’s home. I prioritize building trust by following the pet’s normal routine, maintaining a clean and secure space, and ensuring constant supervision and care. I’m mindful of each pet’s temperament, dietary needs, and any special instructions, and I take precautions such as secure doors, leash use, and hazard-free surroundings to keep them safe at all times. My goal is to create a comfortable, low-stress environment where pets feel cared for, protected, and at ease while their owners are away.

A typical day
A typical day is centered around keeping pets happy, active, and comfortable in a routine they enjoy. The day usually starts with a morning walk or outdoor time, followed by feeding and some play to burn off energy. Throughout the day, I include interactive activities like fetch, light training, or enrichment toys to keep them mentally stimulated, along with plenty of affection and relaxation time. For pets that enjoy it, I love incorporating longer walks, exploring new sniff spots, or simply spending time outside. In the evening, we wind down with another walk, dinner, and calm companionship so they feel settled and secure. I tailor each day to the pet’s personality and energy level to make sure they’re both having fun and feeling at home.

Knowing their likes, dislikes, and comfort items helps me create a familiar, stress-free environment.
