I do not provide services in my own home unless it is for Reptiles or Small Animals, my cats would not approve of another cat or dog in the house haha. In Clients Homes, I am overly aware of how I enter and exit the home on each visit. I am observant and make sure all doors or yard gates are closed, I am very vigilant about any potential issues that could occur while I am visiting. While working for both Dog Walking Companies, we are prepped to keep our eyes and ears open for any potential dangers that can occur. Working in that environment for close to 4 years, I have become overly aware of my surroundings and can ensure safety when I am in care of anyone's pets.

A typical day
I’d prefer to stay in the neighborhoods that the dog is familiar with while walking! I don’t mind staying in the backyard on visits as well, playing with them if you have any toys you would provide! Balls for fetch, rope toys; whatever you have, I’ll use! I am very active and playful. If the pet is less active, cuddles and snuggles can and will be provided!

Hi I'm Kristan!! I am a 32 year old, experienced pet sitter and dog walker! I am passionate about animal care and can provide care for a variety of pets! I am comfortable with Dogs and Cats, Reptiles, Small Furry Animals, Fish, Birds, Ducks and Chickens, Some Farm Animals and some Exotics. I have around 18 years of personal and professional experience with animals. I have worked in the Veterinary Field for around 4 years as well as having years of professional dog walking and overnight pet sitting for all breeds of dogs and other pets as well with two separate companies. In my free time around my job, I would LOVE to be able to provide services in the community for people who may need drop-in visits or walks, feeding visits or medication visits, etc. Thank you for any consideration to watch over your Furbabies! I promise to treat them as my own and again would be more than happy to provide any references from my past employers in order to make you feel any more comfortable about using my services!

Kristan has watched our dog Ghost every week for two years (since he was a puppy!) and we truly couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Kristan has treated Ghost like family—attentive, loving, and for us, she was incredibly reliable and always kept us in the loop. Whether it was a quick drop-in or a longer stay, we always knew our dog was in the best hands. Unfortunately, we have to move, and one of the hardest parts of leaving was saying goodbye to her. If you’re lucky enough to live nearby and have Kristan watch your fur animals, don’t hesitate—book her! She’s the absolute best, and we can’t recommend her highly enough.
Kristan took care of my senior cat for a long weekend and overall it was a great experience. Communication, timeliness and attentiveness to his conditions were all top notch. I appreciated her efforts to play with him and make him comfortable despite his timidness and anxiety. I would have no issues leaving him in her care again :)
