I currently work part-time from home, which means I have the freedom to be wherever your pets need me. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday playtime, or evening cuddles, I’m available seven days a week, day or night. As I transition into full retirement over the next few months, I’m embracing this new chapter with open arms—and open paws. With my husband’s support and our sweet chorkie Bettie Sue happily cared for at home, I’m able to give your furry loved ones my full attention. My schedule is flexible, my heart is full, and I’m ready to treat your pets like family.

While I’d love to welcome every furry friend into mine, our current setup—thanks to HOA restrictions like no fencing—just isn’t ideal for safe outdoor play or extended stays. But the good news is: I’m flexible, mobile, and happy to come to you. Whether it’s daily visits, overnight stays, or just a few hours of companionship, I’ll make sure your pets feel loved and secure right in their own familiar space.

Hi, I'm Krista—a semi retired professional, proud grandmother, and lifelong animal lover with over 30 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. As a mother of three boys while working full-time, I know the value of trust, reliability, and a nurturing touch. My own fur baby, Bettie Sue—a spirited 10-year-old chorkie—is my daily joy and constant companion. In my retirement, I'm dedicating my time to showering your pets with the same love, cuddles, and care I give my own. Whether it's belly rubs, playtime, or quiet companionship, I treat every furry friend like family.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Krista. We were out of the country on an extended trip and very worried as this was the first time our Loki would be alone for 19 days after Wally passed away in June. Loki saw us packing and his anxiety was high causing him to be a bit unwell the day we left. I called Krista to inform her and she put my mind at ease - she eased my anxiety and i left home feeling calm. She assured me that she would handle the situation. Krista took such good care of Loki - she sent us updates and pictures and followed all the instructions i had left for her. Our neighbors messaged me to say how well she was taking care of Loki - She left our home in impeccable condition and we returned to a happy and healthy dog. I highly recommend Krista to anyone- you can rest assured that she will take great care of your pet and home.
Krista stayed with Ruby while I was on a long weekend away and I felt completely comfortable leaving my Ruby in her care. Ruby is high needs in terms of medication and company and Krista rolled with all of it. She's super pleasant and competent and will absolutely be my go to for Ruby in the future ❤️❤️
I have known Krista for over 10 years, and If we currently lived in the same state I would have her watch my two dogs anytime at my house or at hers. Not only is Krista a wonderful dog mom herself, but I have seen her in a professional environment and can say that she is dedicated, very responsible and accountable, and cares about ensuring both animals and people are taken care of and able to live their best lives.
