I am employed as that is what I did in Vancouver - working full time at the BCSPCA and also working for a pet sitting company that specialized in reactive dogs. This means your pet would be alone at home for 8-9 hours if the home is more than 15 min drive from work in Charlottetown.

Plus the obvious things like what they are reactive to, things in their routine I should continue while you’re away, medical needs and allergies. I never do off leash work while pet sitting so a long line is helpful if there is no back yard for playing fetch
A typical day
At least two walks a day or what is required. Adventure walks too if they are okay with car rides. Cuddles and play as well as following closely thier feeding schedule

I have three years of professional experience with pet sitting in people’s homes, dog walking and working at an animal shelter in Vancouver, BC called the BCSPCA. Dog behavioural assessments and reading canine body language are some of the skills that I bring to the table. I am comfortable working with canine reactive dogs.

Krista was so wonderful! She was attentive and went out of her way to keep my home clean while I was gone. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to cat care and common veterinary conditions as well and I would certainly hire her again!
Krista did housesitting for my dog walking company in Vancouver. Every single sit she did, I would get raving reviews about the care she provided to each animal. She is amazing at what she does. We miss her dearly but I’m glad she’s going to continue providing excellent care in her new location.
