Pet care is intentionally woven into my daily routine so I can provide reliable, unrushed visits throughout the day. I schedule a limited number of clients to ensure each pet receives focused, attentive care, and I build my day around consistent check-in times, walks and overnight stays. This flexible structure allows me to be fully present during each visit, follow established routines and provide timely updates — including photos — so pet parents always know how their pets are doing.

Because our pets are like family, I encourage in-person consultations for first time customers to ensure we’re a good match. This allows your pet to meet me in a comfortable environment and gives me a chance to learn about your pet’s routine. If this is not possible, we can discuss alternate options. Here are the few things I like to know ahead of time so I can give your pet the best care: • Daily routine: Feeding schedule, walk times, potty habits and any routines that help them feel comfortable • Personality & quirks: What they love, what to avoid, fears (thunder, fireworks, vacuums), and how they handle new people • Exercise needs: Energy level, favorite activities, leash manners and any mobility limitations • Training & commands: Commands they know, house rules and anything you’re actively working on • Health info: Medications, allergies, special diets, chronic conditions or recent injuries • Behavior around others: How they do with other dogs, cats, kids, delivery drivers, etc. • Emergency info: Vet name, emergency contact and permission for emergency care if needed • Comfort items: Favorite toys, treats, sleeping spots, or anything that helps them relax The more you share, the better I can match your pet’s routine and make their time with me feel familiar, fun and stress-free.
A typical day
I tailor activities to match each pet’s personality. For dogs who love to move, that might mean neighborhood walks or backyard playtime. For more laid-back pups, I’m happy to slow it down with gentle strolls and lots of cuddle breaks. I also love building little routines so your dog feels comfortable and secure while you’re away. And of course, there’s no shortage of praise and belly rubs.

I provide calm, routine-focused care that’s never rushed — whether that’s a slow, sniff-filled walk or quiet companionship. I pay attention to the little details, keep stress low and share regular photo updates so you can see your pet comfortable, happy and well cared for. My goal is simple: peace of mind for you and a visit that feels just right for your pet. I have experience with cats, dogs and exotic pets with a variety of temperaments and medical conditions, including asthma, allergies, heart conditions and anxiety.

Krista came to the rescue when our other house sitter cancelled at the last minute! Krista was quick to respond when I reached out on Rover and was very flexible when setting a time for a meet and greet. She was great about receiving and gathering all the necessary information at the meet and greet to prepare her and our pets for a successful stay. Krista sent messages and pictures during her stay and kept us informed of how things were going. Krista even made sure to take care of our pets working around her plans on New Year's Eve. She left our home very neat and our pets were very well taken care of! Remi soon warmed up to Krista and even played fetch with her. It was evident that she really cared for our pets. We would definitely have Krista stay again!
