Pet sitter for Rocky Mountain Animal Rescue! Organisation in Calgary, Alberta. Experienced giving pet care in a one-on-one setting and caring for a whole pack! Experienced with cats and dogs. Pet owner since 2013! Taking in a stray kitten off the street and loving him immensely. He had some fear at a young age but became a well adjusted boy. Adopted my rescue from a Toronto area organization and made leaps of progress with her lack of socialization and generalized anxiety and fear. This fearful bean was scared of people, traffic, dogs, you name it. She became more confident yet still aprehensive in certain situations. Both of whom have since crossed over. They are still deeply loved and wholeheartedly missed. At home I have a golden retriever with my partner, a retired service dog from Mississauga. Owner sought medical care in Europe and was unable to bring his companion as his condition may not improve. Hes a goofball who loves water, the beach, and kicking it in his grandparents pool when they're not looking.

I appreciate the care Krista provides for Daisy. I feel very comfortable when I have to travel overnight, knowing Daisy won't be alone, that she gets care and cuddles while I'm away.
I knew before I met Krista that caring for pets and animals is a top priority for her. She took great care of Daisy during their first visit together . I'll be using Krista's services again and again!
Krista is very loving and caring to her fur babies!! She feeds them healthy nutritious foods, walks her puppy all the time, taking her to parks and different places in the city!! Her kitty is a house cat, she is always playing with him and buying him toys and treats, she is a great pet parent!!

Schedule
I have the ability to work from home if need be! In 2025 I was approved to work remote to be flown to Alberta to care for the resident and foster animals at Rocky Mountain Animal Rescue. My boarding and other services hours reflect my ongoing schedule and updated regularly. I'll happily watch your animals or take them out as needed :)

Bungalow with a fenced in private yard. Anxious pets create conscientious owners, and mindful interactions. My rescue bean has given me a wealth of knowledge I'm happy to share. However, I'm still learning! Please tell me any concerns regarding your loved ones so I can accurately and adequately handle all situations that may arise. I carry single ingredient fish based treats with me at all times.

A typical day
My typical day starts with a coffee for myself and access to the yard for my pups! From there we'll head on a short walk to begin our day and settle into the routines depending on the schedule!
