Shelter volunteer pet sitting!
I started fostering animals during the pandemic and have fostered (and gotten adopted!) 10+ dogs and 4 kittens. I also regularly Foster-sit for other fosters. I volunteer at the local animal shelter whenever I can.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a townhouse with no other pets and an adult only household. We are home most of the time and have lots of time to walk and exercise dogs as well as pet and cuddle them. Our apartment doesn’t have a yard, but we are right next to the trail/greenbelt.
Ratings and reviews
Krista was very easy to communicate with and sent photos and updates throughout. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog, Bug, with her. Bug can be very nervous around new places and people but Krista was able to make Bug feel comfortable. Would happily have Krista watch Bug again!

Krista was great! I felt immediately comfortable leaving my senior pup Zeke with her after our meet n greet. She was amazing at sending pictures/updates everyday to communicate how he was doing and gave him all the walks and pets, which I'm sure he was thrilled with. She also had a great supply of dog beds and toys that my puppers took to immediately! He seemed like a very happy pup when I went to pick him up. I would absolutely book with Krista again.
Krista is my first choice for a dog sitter! She makes our 75lb pit bull welcome in her house, takes him on long walks, cuddles and sends adorable pictures while we are gone. Krista has a lot of experience with foster dogs, so she expertly handles our dog’s reactive nature - keeping him well away from trouble. I feel very comfortable with my dog in her care.
Krista is a very responsible and caring pet sitter. She watched my sweet but unsocialized foster dog Hope and she was so understanding of her needs. As a "flight risk" dog I would not let just anyone care for Hope but fully trusted Krista knowing her compassion and responsible character. Updates during Hope's stay gave me peace of mind and happiness knowing how well Hope was taken care of. I am super picky and wary of who can watch my pups so feeling at ease leaving Hope with Krista was such a relief. (Also would like to add Krista is a volunteer at the local Animal Shelter so she also has experience with some of our super playful and rambunctious dogs.)
Krista took care of our reactive pup for a week while we were out of town and I couldn't have picked a better sitter! Krista has experience with all different dog behaviors and seemed totally comfortable with our dog's quirks. While we were away, Krista sent photos and updates so that we were never worried or wondering how our pup was doing. I would absolutely recommend choosing Krista to sit for your furbabies!

Schedule
I work from home and own my own business, so am very flexible. I love walking dogs as an excuse to get out and be active and de stress, and love cuddling up on the couch with them at night (if they’re into that sort of thing!
