Hi! I'm Krista and I genuinely love spending time with dogs and have lots of experience taking care of them. I recently said goodbye to my sweet and quirky 12‑year‑old German Shepherd. Caring for her throughout the years has given me experience with all the different stages from energetic pups to the oldies with mobility challenges and slower routines. My shepherd struggled with anxiety around other dogs, so I’m very familiar with reading body language, creating safe distance, and keeping walks calm and controlled. Throughout the years, I have cared for and spent ample time with doggos belonging to friends and family members and look forward to the opportunity to give others peace of mind when they need to leave their loved ones. Lots of walks, pets, play time and of course, photos/videos for owners!

Krista was wonderful with Paris! She was very attentive and sent lots of photos throughout her stay - I would feel comfortable leaving my pets with her again in a heartbeat!
Krista was a great caretaker for Hugo! She was very communicative and proactive. She arranged a pre-stay meet and greet, sent thorough daily updates, and was flexible with pick-up and drop-off times to accommodate travel changes. Hugo had a great time, and so did we on our vacation, knowing that he was in great care!
Krista and Kira are WONDERFUL! Clearly great dog lovers and were so sweet with our senior tripod. He was clearly so happy and relaxed with them and that made being away stress free! Thank you SO MUCH!
Krista took excellent care of my dog and provided 2x daily updates with photos. I felt so comfortable having Pippin stay with her, and would definitely do so again.

I cannot recommend Krista enough for dog sitting and boarding. She is one of the very few people I would fully trust with my own dog, which says everything. She has such a calm, patient, and caring demeanor that animals naturally gravitate toward her and feel safe around her almost immediately. Krista truly understands that every pet has their own personality, routine, and individual needs. She makes sure dogs are walked as often as they need, keeps them active and engaged, and gives them so much love and attention while they are in her care. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or older and needing a gentler approach, she adapts beautifully to what they need. She is especially wonderful with senior dogs, incredibly patient, attentive, and compassionate. At the same time, she absolutely loves to play, interact, and bond with dogs, so they are never just “watched,” they are genuinely cared for like family. Krista has also been fantastic with cats. She is very respectful of their boundaries and personalities, while still finding gentle and thoughtful ways to engage them with play and enrichment so they feel comfortable, stimulated, and cared for in their environment. She is responsible, trustworthy, reliable, and has a natural instinct with animals that you really cannot teach. Any pet would be lucky to spend time with her, and any owner can feel completely confident knowing their furry family member is in amazing hands.

Schedule
I work from home so there are lots of opportunities to go outside. There are a few parks nearby and lots of grassy areas. I also have dog beds, dishes and plenty of toys! Please note, my building unfortunately has restrictions on the following dog breeds: Akita, Alaskan Malamutes, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinscher, Malamute, Pit Bull Breeds, Presa Canarios, Rottweiler, Staffordshire Terrier and Wolf Dogs.

I live in a condo building but there's lots of areas outside to venture around! I do own a crate if needed/preferred. I will bring your dog on many walks and ensure they have lots of play time (for the youngins) and rest (for the oldies) :)
A typical day
I am a very active person so I will get your dog outside and playing often. I have lots of toys, frisbees and balls and there are a few parks around my area.
