Fantastic experience leaving my girl with Krista. I had a last-minute change in travel plans and she was wonderfully flexible in scheduling a stay. Very professional and communicative; looking forward to leaving Sparta in such caring hands. Thank you!

I cannot recommend Krista enough for dog sitting and boarding. She is one of the very few people I would fully trust with my own dog, which says everything. She has such a calm, patient, and caring demeanor that animals naturally gravitate toward her and feel safe around her almost immediately. Krista truly understands that every pet has their own personality, routine, and individual needs. She makes sure dogs are walked as often as they need, keeps them active and engaged, and gives them so much love and attention while they are in her care. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or older and needing a gentler approach, she adapts beautifully to what they need. She is especially wonderful with senior dogs, incredibly patient, attentive, and compassionate. At the same time, she absolutely loves to play, interact, and bond with dogs, so they are never just “watched,” they are genuinely cared for like family. Krista has also been fantastic with cats. She is very respectful of their boundaries and personalities, while still finding gentle and thoughtful ways to engage them with play and enrichment so they feel comfortable, stimulated, and cared for in their environment. She is responsible, trustworthy, reliable, and has a natural instinct with animals that you really cannot teach. Any pet would be lucky to spend time with her, and any owner can feel completely confident knowing their furry family member is in amazing hands.

Krista is a huge animal lover. She cares for your pet as if it were her own. My dog is not great with other dogs and Krista made sure to keep her exercised, happy and out of trouble. She has a clean place and was an excellent caregiver. My mind is completely at ease whenever my dog is with her. Highly recommend!

Krista has lovingly taken care of my Old English Mastiff over the past years, teenager thru senior with all the extra needs required at each stage. I trust her completely to see to all her needs, daily exercise, playtime, proper nutrition, administration of her medications when required and an abundance of snuggles and love. Krista makes a point to update frequently with text and photos. Krista is one of the most warm hearted people I know and her love of all animals is magnified when you see them together. Krista has taken care of my dog, Bernie, on numerous occasions. Whether it's a single night, or a week away, we know that Bernie is in good hands! Krista provides us with updates and photos so we have nothing to worry about while we're away. Bernie is very affectionate and I know she gives him the attention he needs and treats him as if he were her own!
