Availability
My days are fairly flexible and I drive so I can visit your pet during the week and on weekends. I can also offer house sitting, primarily over the weekends but also during the week, depending on my availability.

Our dog, Dexter is fairly high maintenance so I am used to providing on-lead exercise at specific times of the day, I can administer medication, and I am used to offering food in a scatter-fed/enrichment approach. I used to own a Newfoundland and worked as a dog walker for the GSPCA (Guernsey equivalent of the RSPCA), so I have experience walking and handling larger breeds, and assisting pets with mobility issues. I will follow your schedule if you have one, or I can employ our schedule if that suits you: Early morning meds (if necessary). Walk & breakfast Rest Lunch Play/another walk More rest Dinner & evening meds (if necessary) Finally, I am a gentle and compassionate dog owner. I have training in dog handling so I can be firm if necessary, but again I will always lead with their safety in mind.

A typical day
I absolutely love being outdoors with walking being one of my favourite activities, especially on the cliffs! So you can rest assured I will give your pet plenty of exercise. I am a mum of one, building my own business from home, so I am fairly flexible. I can offer drop ins, dog walks, and house sitting in your home for short periods (see availability).

With a degree in Animal Science and Management, and over 15 years experience of working with and caring for animals, I have a sound knowledge base and a genuine passion to work with animals and ensure their wellbeing. I am a strong empath, so I have always adored and gravitated towards animals - I believe I offer them a safe and happy space while they offer me the same in return! I believe in respecting their individual personality and needs. My husband and I have a rescue dog, Dexter. He is a staffi crossed greyhound, and has his own specific set of needs, so we are very aware of how important it is to be mindful of a dog's cues, routine, space, etc. You can be happy knowing that I will follow whatever guidelines you have for your house and pet.
