UC Berkeley Student Who Loves Dogs!
I grew up caring for my Yorkie for 16 years, which taught me responsibility, patience, and how deeply pets become part of a family. In his later years, I helped care for him when he struggled with mobility and breathing, so I’m very comfortable with senior dogs and giving them extra attention, gentle walks, and lots of reassurance. I truly love spending time with dogs, whether that means slow strolls for older pups, energetic playtime, or just keeping them company and making them feel safe and loved.

Schedule
As a college senior finishing my final semester, I have a flexible weekly schedule that allows me to fit pet care easily into my routine. I enjoy taking breaks from studying to go on walks, spend time playing with pets, and check in on them throughout the day. I plan my time carefully and make sure every walk or visit gets my full attention.

I always prioritize safety and comfort when caring for pets in a client’s home. I follow all owner instructions closely, keep doors and gates secure, and make sure pets are supervised at all times. I love giving lots of affection through cuddles and playtime, but I’m also attentive to each pet’s boundaries and energy level so they feel relaxed and safe.
A typical day
A typical day with the pets I watch includes walks at their usual pace, plenty of playtime with their favorite toys, and lots of affection and companionship. I love keeping dogs mentally stimulated with games and making sure cats get interactive play and attention too. I always stick closely to each pet’s routine for feeding, rest, and potty breaks, and I’m happy to send photo updates so owners can see how their pets are doing while they’re away.

- Before caring for a pet, I like to learn about their daily routine, feeding schedule, walking style, energy level, and any health concerns or medications. I also ask about mobility limitations, behavioral quirks, favorite toys, and anything that might make them anxious or excited. Knowing emergency contacts and vet information ahead of time helps me be fully prepared.
