I've been caring for cats ever since my parents got us our first one when I was around 10. I grew up with 3 cats in that household, and now as an adult I have 2 cats of my own. I am often considered a "cat whisperer," as in most cats will warm up to me, despite any aloofness with other people. But if they still want their space, I respect every animal's unique personality. I'm an avid watcher of Jackson Galaxy (the cat behaviorist), so I understand the deeper workings behind cat psychology and behavior. I've never owned a dog, but I have been house- and dog-sitting. I do love dogs, I just have never had one of my own! Regardless of the species of your pet, it is certain that I will care for them as if they were my own, and that includes holding conversations out loud with them even while no other humans are around!
