Home FT, fenced yard, no other pets
I was raised with cats and dogs and am home full time with my husband. We lost 2 dogs and a cat in 2023 and are now traveling a bit more so we now enjoy walking with, playing with, cuddling and loving on others! One of the hardest parts about having an animal is leaving them behind for any reason. We get it!

Kris and Dan took amazing care of our golden retriever puppy - and I have to say, this says A LOT because our 7 m/o "puppy" is a solid 60ish lb dog with a TON of energy. This was our first time leaving him so I was nervous as Remy is a super sweet dog but we find him to also be a real stinker during this adolescent phase. Kris sent me photos/videos every day and her husband graciously walked him every morning to get energy out. Our goal is to have him be a lot better next time he spends time with you!!! Thank you again so much, it meant a lot to our family to be able to see a parent after open heart surgery and you made that possible.
Much appreciation to Kris for accepting a last minute booking for my dog Jackie Chan. I didn’t worry about Jackie knowing he’s safe and loved at Kris’ place. Thank you so much!!
Kris and Dan are wonderful humans. I felt extremely comfortable leaving our dog Finn in their hands. Appreciated all the photos and updates when we were away. We will definitely be using them for further pet sitting. Thank u🙏

Best experience both for me and my dog Jackie Chan. He loved staying with Kris and her husband Dan. He loved the attention and the love - I don’t think he wanted to come home lol. We will surely book another stay when I visit my kids next time. Thank you so much!!!
We had the absolute best experience with Kris. She took such loving, attentive care of our dogs, Rocky and Charlie, and treated them like her own. We received so many detailed updates and pictures throughout their stay, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that Rocky and Charlie were having the best time and were truly loved and cared for. We are so grateful for the level of care, communication, and genuine kindness she showed our dogs, and we can’t wait to use her again in the future! :)

Schedule
I am home full time and can schedule meals, walks, as needed on a pet-by-pet basis. I enjoy hiking along the many trails that are close and find that being accompanied by a dog only enhances the experience!

Safety, trust & environment
Depending on the pet, I can leave doors open to our gated back yard as I am generally in and out all day but will take direction from the owner. I will crate if desired but our animals were always welcome on beds, furniture. Again, I will do whatever is best for your pet and will not take more than one family’s pets at a time unless agreed upon by both parties.
A typical day
I adore my time with pets whether it's throwing the ball, playing tug of war, hiking, or simply snuggling. I pride myself on taking cues from an animal as they are as special, unique and individual as humans!

- Tell me about their typical day! It is awesome to be able to provide a safe, loving space for them. Knowing what pets expect out of their day is helpful to do so. Parents are usually on vacation while we have their furry critters and those special furry critters should feel like they are too!
